I had a horrible accident and landed in hospital the day before my very first meet. The guy who met me still, nearly six years later, takes the absolute piss out of me for being a time waster (for the record, he cancelled it as I told him I was sitting in A&E). He remains a very dear friend.

I must admit, I don't find this type of thread, only really in so far as having a maybe more jovial look at what folks have been up to but to start putting figures to things, well, it makes it look a little 'quantity over anything else'.

I guess the OP is reflecting on life not 9 weeks here...?

I will answer that, no it isn't pleasant.

Can people remember what the site is for. People who want to talk about their meets should not be subject to what people will say is "banter" that is on this thread. You are baiting the OP to go on the defensive, then when they do you start telling them they are out of order...in effect disrupting the forum which can lead to a ban especially after seeing that your "banter" is not going down well.

The forum is for all, not just for the few who like to do this, so please understand your audience
