No swinging swinging club

Great Dunmow

Went to a club last night and there was almost nothing happening. It was like being at a slightly naughty night at a local pub. My partner and I left around midnight and by that time we reckon we had seen three couples go and play separately. We went to the play area and had fun ourselves but deserted. The social area was full of people, mostly in normal clothes in little friendship groups chatting away like your would in a pub. Maybe it all exploded into after we left but really struggle to understand nights like this. Sure there were some wild Saturday nights at other places of course but can see why some of our friends don't bother with clubs very much as so social and nothing else. Wished we had just arranged something privately.

I would say that was definitely a swinging club... social aspect is hugely important.

I would never go to a club expecting fun.. just a good night out x

A health mix of the two is good. Wasn't even a good night out really and we did try. Did chat to some people but mostly little groups of friends who had little interest in anyone else. Don't expect fun personally but do expect something to be happening. We are not newbies and seen lots of places but this was an odd vibe for a swinging place.

If you find anywhere like that let me know Well some clubs pretty much everybody gets naked when you go in but generally not. A friend runs a big private party where they close the doors at 9pm and basically announce clothes off time and it is pretty much orgy time. Sadly that was too far away for us last night

Yet to experience this, however clubs do have thier regular attendees which you either engage with or you don't.

If you were looking for action then normally the Friday nights where single guys are invited would have been a better shout.

On our first club night it was very social, we were ready to call it a night when we then ended up playing with another couple we'd not met before, but the rest of the club was still quite normal/social. We still enjoyed it. We actually found it quite relaxing that you could have the best of both worlds and not be expected to jump straight into an orgy/cock fest the minute you walk through the door.

No not really, like Cali said above the social scene is just as important and

most of the clubs we have been to have had large social areas

What we have noticed is that late on in the night is when most of the furtive action starts taking place

Yep, have witnessed this a lot over the years. Seen a lot of people who never leave the bar area.

I like a bit of socialising in a club, my brain needs stimulation as well as my body. But yes, I have noticed some people just prefer to socialise, chat, dance rather than have sex. A lot of the times, it seems like most "wake up" around midnight, realise where they are, and then there is a mad dash to the playrooms

Only been to 3 clubs, All like you described, but after a couple of hours a lot of Women were walking around in lingerie and the play areas was full of people, I wouldn't visit a club that had a dress down policy myself as I like the social side just as much as playing and I don't want to be standing around in just my pants or seeing all the other Men in just there pants

weve found this at a particular club, tends to be pretty clique too everyone just staying in their particular groups not mingling etc

I tried my first club experience this year, I went on a Wednesday and had a really good time. Later on talking to a couple they said they stopped coming on Saturday as no one plays.

Well a few weeks later I did go on a Saturday night and they were right no one was playing.

It has put me off going to clubs.
