Hey guys, we were just wondering if the "im a professional photographer" line has ever got anyone a meet? We get this message at least once a week from random guys that dont even have a picture uploaded themselves . We delete and move on but was just curious if anyone got anywhere with that line

No idea if it works as I've never tried it, but knowing that a lot of people try it on makes me hesitant to tell people I'm good at photography!

For us photography is part of us having fun so wouldn't want to involve someone else but we understand other people think differently

That's exactly how we feel we just find it odd that so many guys without pics of their own say they're a pro that will do a "free" photo shoot lol

I'm a pro photographer and I've never used it to get meets...I don't work for nothing, for starters, unless I know you, or you have a reciprocal service to offer.

From what I've seen...about 3 of the people that claim to be pros on here (whose work I have seen) have any images approaching a professional standard...the rest are just chancers with a bridge camera and a built in flash.

Thats what we think. You have great photos on your profile you would think a pro would have some to advertise their skills. So in short guys saying they are pros in their messages dont get anywhere lol

John does shoot a lot of couples, bi ladies & guys profile pics, its usually after people have met us & realise he is genuine & safe that they ask for pics.

He also blurs faces, tattoo's etc so they can put them in their public folders, he will shoot what they want from glamour to hardcore & as its his normal job they know they won't get pounced on or molested lol!.

We like to get photos of the fun we are having,we were lucky enough to find a guy wife liked at club we had a great meet with him,he is a proffesional photographer and said he will do some four us,but we always ask couples or guys we play with if its ok for private use,and would always get permission to show

i dont claim to be a proffesional and would never dream such a thing ,but do love taking them no matter what the subject is

i have had many compliments on my photos but honestly if someone is claiming to be a professional and offering there services i myself and my opinion only wouldnt take the offer up

we do get the odd message saying the same thing and just refer them to our pics and usually dont hear from them again ha ha

Saw a profile of a guy advertising as a semi pro photographer, saying he would take pics for you etc, and I had to laugh as his profile pic was a cock one up against a can of deodorant

I am just as happy to watch as to play. I think all photographers have a voyeuristic streak - a good shooter knows the importance of watching people after all. Sure there are a lot of chancers, but there are some genuine and talented folks here too - be kind!

Re 'Professional' Photographer.

I've never set out to be anything other than what I am - an amateur photographer with a good eye. Deliver enjoyable, discrete photoshoots for fun couples and single fems.

Does it get results? Yes. Happy people with naughty pics.

Try it - it works

One of our first meets was a photographer and things did go a little further than originally planned, but we had a good night and his photos were good.

We've since invested in an old canon dslr and have had fun messing around with it, and are learning bit by bit, but there's no way we'd offer to take photos for others as a 'service'. Although we can offer other services with a few hit and miss photos thrown in

So am I (although I shoot more buildings than people), and I completely agree with this.

The only pro shots I've seen on here are ones in fake profiles, where people are stupid enough to think that we'll believe that's really them in that professionally lit, fully retouched studio shoot.

Yeah as we said for us it's part of our fun taking pictures at random so the whole pro thing would be too contrived for us. Well we now know that it works for some guys. Consider us educated lol

I'm a pro photographer and have met many 'chancers'. Always worth vetting if you want pics done by someone else!

Sometimes I get 'invited' to join in after the shoot but there is never any expectation on my part.

You can't beat references.
