I sometimes click on people’s profiles as a quick way of getting the menus back to the top of the page (Home, Updates, Account etc). I don’t stop to read or view. Sorry if I’ve been confusing some boys!

They don't really mean much. People view for all sorts of reasons and not necessarily interested in you per se. They might often look because you posted something in the forum just out of curiosity. I had over 80 views the other day, lots from guys who have blocked guys vewing their own profile or with theirs hidden all together. As I said, unless the box turns yellow or you get a cheeky wink ...
