If it's couples you're chatting to, you may find you're only chatting to the Man. His partner may not have any idea of the chat, if she gets told about it she may not be interested.

The only time I stop communication is when we have arranged a social but they constantly try to talk about fucking or just being overly sexually graphic in general.

A social is a social until it isn't. I hate feeling pressure lke that, it makes me uncomfortable.

I don't just ghost though I tell them that I don't like to be that way until we've met and everything is all good in person and they still carry on.

Attraction for me is difficult to establish online from a few conversations and a still photo.

Too many things can turn you off or draw you in and it's not 100% until they're infront of me.

I don't think me stating a boundary and them dismissing it is me being a time waster though.

I am not saying you do this at all.

That's actually surprised me somewhat, cos usually it's a thread talking about the time wasting men on here. But I have tried multiple times to start conversation and get to know some single women on here so it's not all about me or me trying to get only what I want and out of the interaction. And they read the message but no response, so there's not much feedback to work off to better myself.

You just have to leave it be if they aren't interested and move on. It's annoying and frustrating at times if there was some traction and movement at the start and then goes silent, but there's so many reasons why people ghost others, so don't be too hard on yourself for it.

I think the idea of meeting and some sex talk turning you on, but of mutual nasturvation everyone loves.

But then when it turns real people get more nervous, with good reason, so it's hard to make that step from online to real meet I feel.

I had a FB that I met in person 1st, then we had a few months of online chat etc. Then met again as at that point we were horny as hell but felt safe as had met previously

Yup... I've had so many arrange a day for a social, then it goes silent. So I've pencilled it in, expecting confirmation nearer the time, as we're all busy, and then nothing!

I've often wondered if it's the same for people who go straight to meets.
