More and more I’m seeing people asking for a Site Supporter’s Code… is this just people trying to take advantage, or can they genuinely not afford £5? Scary if it is the latter, ordinary people are being squeezed and not in a good way.

They may well be able to afford it (they can afford a mobile or tablet). But there's always gullible people who think they may get some action by sending a code.

Some people seem to think there is some magical way they will be tracked and outed by making a payment - good way to spot married men! As if we are not all being tracked by everything already
