Life modelling

I do life modelling for artists in my spare time, usually small groups or one to one sessions. I have found that I enjoy the experience of being naked in full view of others and have recently wondered why this is so. Am I just an exhibitionist at heart or are there other reasons? I'm obviously not doing it for the money as I couldn't make a living from it but I've always enjoyed sketching and painting myself so understand people's wish to draw or paint nudes. What do you lovely people think and could YOU do it.

I don't think I could sit still that long

I do it quite regularly but it’s mainly hen parties or other ‘girls day out’ situations. The vibe is playful, the ladies have had a few drinks and the atmosphere is just fun.

Why do I enjoy it? It’s empowering and good for my ego. And sometimes I leave sore from trying to stay still while laughing so hard.

I’d love to do this. How did you get involved in it?

"I’d love to do this. How did you get involved in it? "

Depends what type of modelling you want to do, but Google is your friend.

If you want to do it for ‘formal’ art groups, have a look online for local art classes either in community groups or colleges and approach them.

For the hen party stuff, there’ll be local companies who arrange the events. Contact them through their website.

You won’t have hundreds of immediate bookings but, if you’re patient and professional, you might get booked soon.
