joined this platform well over a year ago and have lost count at the number of users that have told me on here that I'm lying about my sexual orientation. It's annoying, to say the very least. They appear to be under the impression that someone who is out as gay, cannot become sexually attracted to women when they get older. This doesn't appear to happen anywhere near as much when it comes to men coming out as gay or bi, after leading a straight life. According to many, I'm a straight guy just chancing his luck. It gets tiring having to explain myself. I shouldn't have to. Especially if there is no chance I'm going to sleep with that person. I thought I would be honest when I created this profile, as I didn't want to mislead any women. They should know the truth and make their own mind up as to whether or not they are okay with potentially having sex with someone who is out as gay.

Has anyone else experienced issues with other users not believing their sexual orientation?

Its a shame that people are doubting you op. If 'straight' women can be women can be bi curious and straight men why can't gay men be 'straight curious ' if you see what I mean.

We have had people doubting my (f) sexuality and not believing me when I say, multiple times that I'm straight.

OP, I’d absolutely agree with the comments above.

Bisexual guys have a hell of time on Fab which is totally at odds to the reality of the scene in person.

We all know the male to female ratio, once you add bisexuality (curious or otherwise) as a variable then it’s virtually impossible to meet anyone; add zero verifications and I’d suggest it’s improbable you’ll ever meet direct from Fab.

Head to your nearest club night, all the very best to you in the meantime

We’re straight, bisexual and gay. Playing is whatever it turns into for us. We’re only interested in meeting with lovely people who understand what fun should be like. Sexual orientation doesn’t mean a thing. Respect goes a long way, but it sometimes lost. We have many friends on here, each are different and very special.

It's why I have given up using fab trying to get meets.

I'm sticking with my local club and I'm having so much more fun.

My profile is down as bi-curious, as I thought that was the best option to choose. I do not state on it that I am gay. What I have stated is that I am out of the closet as gay. There's a difference.

Yes I get that what I’m saying (very badly) is it’s an online profile so you could try a straight profile see what happens. Tbh I don’t think I’ve ever come across gay bi curious about straight so I might just be having brain fry this morning

I've never had the slightest interest in other men so I'm straight.

That hasn't stopped people challenging me in the forums.

I've seen woman complain about couples not accepting the fact they are straight and assuming that all women are bi.

The general consensus is that they should stick to their preferences and don't let anyone try to influence or shame them.

I've seen men including myself comment to say we are straight only to have a number of other fabbers come back with a "yeah right" response.

I've been told directly on here that I'm close minded and vanilla for not exploring my nonexistent bisexual side.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone having to justify their bisexuality in these forums but I have seen many straight people having to do so.

Best advice is just to block and move on. You’ve been upfront and honest about what you’re searching for. We’ve had all sorts of people challenging what we are looking for or what we are into and trying to bypass our preferences , even people messaging verifications to bypass age filters. Stick to what your looking for and ignore anyone who doubts you
