Is it right to state your racial preference? We have seen profiles that state BBC only or no black or asians, in a world of equality should this be allowed or should it be approached differently?

We are interested to here peoples views on this

Don't see a problem with putting a racial preference on the profile to be honest.

As a couple we are happy to meet a couple of any race but if L wants to meet up with single guys she is only interested in a BBC, its just her preference and it stops too many people she isn't interested in from messaging.

Not that you don't get those who obviously can't read lol.

I think some statments are in danger of mixing preference with prejudice.

It is fine to have a preference based on what you find sexually attractive.

Saying that you like BBC etc is not derogatory to other ethnicities, it is not insulting or degrading anyone to fancy BBC, just stating a preference. The same as age, sexuality or height.

Yes it's okay. Just do it in a respectful way just as yoy would with stating other preferences.

I do not have any preference, there are pretty ladies from all races...

This although does not take away the choice of preference. It's a free world. It wouldn't make sense that you'd meet someone and you don't get your cock stand or your pussy to produce those lovely juice...

I think "we" who don't have preferences are as lucky as those who are

"My view is BBC is a television company so is someone is looking for that I will point them in that direction."

Have you been looking at my prof

To the OP it's preference the same way you choose to not meet BBW's. This question has been asked before and if someone chooses to only meet a specific colour then that's thier perogative.

Personally i wouldn't meet someone who singled me out for my colour cause my colour doesn't make me who i am.

Seeing a few profiles where it's stated "no asians/blacks it's our preference" does make me wonder whether it genuinely is preference or just dislike (i wont use the R word) for other ethnicities but who am i to question someones choice.

Think i may update my profile to say my preference is people who bleed red and are colour blind

Ethnic origin

If someone is particular about a race that they would like to meet, then let them do so. They are here to fulfill their own fantasies and desires, not ours.

So, i say, yeah! if theres something particular they want, let them ask for it

No the laws of attraction aren't blind - people have preferences be they gender , ethnic (racial or race is a bit of a non-sense term considering we're all apart of the same race!) weight , height ect.

Where that might be questionable though is in what terms members express those preferences eg no (insert ethnic slur here) or no (insert heightest /weightest /sexist slur here) vs not interested in (insert appropriate noun here) but thanks for the interest ect.

There has to be a level of common sense applied on any site designed to bring people together, just like the sites where uniform is a preference.

Derogatory terms or slurs clearly cannot be used.

on this site we already have a list of choices to select from so maybe some more could be added (bbw, bbc,) as far as other choices relating to ethnic origins, well those are on the census doc so I suppose could be added but it starts to get even more complicated, especially when you have so many here who won't or can't use the current selections.

One that springs to mind is the rant around single guys not to contact but they refuse or just don't read how to set up their profile and simply selecting "not looking for single males".

Just think how many profiles wouldn't need to start with a rant; which is often in caps.

Probably just leave us with:

I find this comment to be a little rude, and I don't think it was intentional. The gentleman who made the original comment is obviously not happy about being defined by a set of initials and yet that is bypassed.

I don't see a problem with people stating a preference, as was pointed out to the OP who has included no BBWs in his profile. Some people think that just because race is mentioned then its automatically taboo, an over reaction to political correctness.

As long as people are respectful in how things are worded on their profile, and some don't have the communication skills to be able to do so, but all is well if people are not rude and insulting in relation to any preference. And respect what people wish to be referred to if speaking to them ie, do not assume that all black guys like to be referred to as BBC or all bigger ladies BBWs

Yes! Of course its right to state your preference, as it your body. You should be afraid of seeming racist because you don't prefer a particular racial group. The disappointing part is those feel the need to apologise for this. The other point about those who make their preferences know is that you know clearly not to waste their time (and your own!).

might be a world of equality, but we arent prepared to play with anyone that doesnt float our boat so why not make it clear so people we wont play with do not waste their time messaging us.

Doesnt matter what is said we play with who we want to only. might as well be honest and if people dont like it doesnt really bother us tbh.

We are here for fun. why should we not put it on our profile and thrn get loads of messages from guys we would never consider meeting with.

Tbh on a site like this people need a much thicker skin, learn to accept rejection and respect other peoples preferences without taking offence or throwing names around.

We are all here for fun only in an adult environment where we should all be allowed to look for and find exactly what we are looking for with people that want to meet us as well and have our fun. but this should be without concerns that others are taking offence to what we like and or dont like.

Look at profiles of people you are interested in and leave the ones you dont. if people cant get meets look at themselves and their profile first as chances are the reason is there somewhere.

So yes it is allowed and should be used if thats your preference.

Some like blondes or redheads, not racist, just personal preference for a sexual enccounter.

I concur wholeheartedly! Supposed BBW and BBC and ethnic selection insults generated by a statement of personal preference pale into insignificance against the profiles that include single men in their list of wants and then spend paragraphs saying NO SINGLE MEN!

These profiles are frequently arrogant, offensive, condescending and downright bloody rude. But worse of all, as stated above, totally unnecessary if they sorted their profile selection at the start
