My Monday wasn’t wonderful but it was pretty good. I had a very relaxing weekend so I woke up this morning feeling refreshed which is very rare on a Monday morning as I’ve normally had a busy weekend so I wake up feeling worn out from it.

When I was in my 20’s I’d be out drinking on a Thursday night, then out straight after work on a Friday, then out from Saturday lunchtime until the early hours of Sunday and then out for a few after playing football on a Sunday, and I still made it into work on a Monday but pretty much every Monday was completely unproductive because I was so hungover. Then in my 30’s I’d drink a lot less at the weekend but be hungover on the Monday and Tuesday….now I’m in my 40’s I’ve had to accept that I have to drink very, very sensibly otherwise there’s a chance I won’t even make it into work on Monday haha
