I may be an odd ball in that I reply to all messages, even if it is just a "No thank you!", as I believe it is rude not to reply.

I agree. My profile is quite specific. If the person contacting me is not in London, much younger than the age I'm looking for, starts hi hun etc etc I delete without reading as it's obvious they haven't read my profile so why should I answer? Make sure you are what people are looking for and recognise that even though our talking mirrors tell us we're the fairest in the land, others may disagree x

LOL..it cracks me up..as a single bi girl....I never got any thing like 60 mails a day..and now get even less as a couple...maybe peeps count mails from their mates saying hi..and chewing the fat in these numbers...no one I know gets anything like that number of cold call mails...!!!!

Simple if peeps dont reply to your messages they are NOT interested...

Clubs ..brilliant way to meet peeps that DO play....timewasters are a pain in the ass fact of life on sites...but very easy to spot...wont list the tell tale givaways ..because cant be bothered with peeps ranting how they fit the profile of a timewaster but they are still genuine swingers...just my 2p...mwah..xx

Because women have the absolute power on any sex site and their the ones virtually everyone’s trying to meet. Therefore you do get one or two who really play on it and who do flirt and say their going to meet you when they have no intention of doing so.

Personally I don’t believe a lot of what I read on here and I do think quite a few people exaggerate about how many emails they get. Some still insist that they receive hundreds each and every week! You usually find these are also the ones who say they can’t be arsed to reply to emails and just delete them on en masse and just shows how some people get so complacent. Why they don’t hide their profiles until they sort out the emails is beyond me because leaving it up just invites even more messages! Maybe it’s the attention people like?

I have also noticed that everyone seems to have done and experienced all the same things which I find hard to believe. Someone starts a thread describing some really odd and unique thing that has happened to them, then a flood of people comment saying it’s happened to them too but always seem to better and embellish upon the OP’s experience. As I say don’t believe a lot of what you read.

Of the 34 messages I recieved, 7 were from friends, 5 were from people who have previously contacted me and I have responded to in some way and the other 22 were messages from new people....and this is despite the fact that my profile very clearly states at the top that I'm not meeting new people at the moment.

Now bearing in mind that it is christmas and quite a lot of people are not using the site as they normally would, this is probably a somewhat quiet day mail wise for me.

Do I mass delete...yes at times I do, not because I'm a time waster or rude....I just don't see why I should waste my time replying to people who don't take any notice of what I write in my profile.

I am going to put my thoughts in here and say something that might sound daft but think about it.

I know of single woman and couples (don't research guys) who have 2 if not 3 profiles on here. Some I have spotted and some I have been told about. Should I like the sound of a couple and message them and either get no reply or a no thanks then no worry I move on NOW if I spot another profile which I decide to message BUT it happens to belong to the couple above they are going to know me from my previous message and the pics on my profile. Human nature will make then think oh he messaged us before and we didn't like him and hit the delete button.

To my mind that is the only small problem with the site is the ability of people to have multiple profiles.

I will agree it must be tiresome to people to get messages from others who simply did not read the profile correctly.

I will also say if I receive a refusal I always thank the sender for taking the time to reply to me, it's simply common courtesy on the other hand getting bent out of shape because your message was deleted with no reply is negative energy and a waste. It used to annoy me a long time ago now it just washes over my head.

Thoughts anyone ?

Well ,were real ,genuine, do meet ,dont timewaste ,also dont like fucking about with ping pong messages, a few is ok, swap phone numbers talk on the phone a lil and sort out a hot ate ,simples..were far too busy to mess about for ages, but we do like to see peoples pics first if they dont have any on their site or no face pics ,then were happy to talk on the phone and go from there. so far ,it works just fine. so now ya know, if were your type of swinger, get in touch .xxx happy new year.

I would respectfully suggest that there's a difference between timewasting and rudeness.

I have no problem whatsoever with ladies and couples who ignore and delete mail from guys who obviously haven't read their profiles and don't meet their criteria.

However, I've always maintained that it takes a minute to say "thanks but no thanks", and I've always in turn thanked them for at least replying.

Latterly though, with limited free time, I've come to a conclusion similar to Ahabs!

I just love the way that EVERYTHING seems to be classed as timewasting by some people replying in this and other threads.

Just to be clear:

People who don't reply to your message are NOT timewasters.... you didn't impress them!

People who like to chat to people and get to know them before meeting are NOT timewasters.... you didn't impress them or they weren't ready to meet when you started getting pushy!

People who don't chase you to meet them are NOT timewasters... they just aren't that interested in meeting you!

People who aren't free when you feel like a shag are NOT timewasters .... they have a life!

People who won't meet you at the drop of a hat because you like their photos are NOT timewasters... they are just more fussy than you!

People who tell you they want to meet, arrange where and when and then don't bother turning up... they ARE timewasters. Anything else is just part and parcel of selection.

"I just love the way that EVERYTHING seems to be classed as timewasting by some people replying in this and other threads.

Just to be clear:

People who don't reply to your message are NOT timewasters.... you didn't impress them!

People who like to chat to people and get to know them before meeting are NOT timewasters.... you didn't impress them or they weren't ready to meet when you started getting pushy!

People who don't chase you to meet them are NOT timewasters... they just aren't that interested in meeting you!

People who aren't free when you feel like a shag are NOT timewasters .... they have a life!

People who won't meet you at the drop of a hat because you like their photos are NOT timewasters... they are just more fussy than you!

People who tell you they want to meet, arrange where and when and then don't bother turning up... they ARE timewasters. Anything else is just part and parcel of selection."

"lol...not his leg as it happens..he was helping out with the champagne fountains, but passed the leg he was holding to me and said, I'll be back in a minute.....but never returned....lol"

Sadly I went to get a dutiful earful and had to be good the rest of o the evening
