We have had this recently. Speaking on message,exchanged face pics, happy to meet, all organised for a social. That evening, very last minute, sorry we have to cancel and then we're blocked! Makes no sense and very disappointing.

Hope you feel better soon about it. It's really frustrating. My take on it now is they have saved my effort meeting them face to face. I leave a note on the profile and unfriend if required. In my experience they will circle back in a few weeks with an excuse or completely ignore the issue.

It's happened to us so many times we've lost count. To add insult to injury, some get back in contact a few weeks later as if nothings happened.

It's unfortunately become the norm on here now.

It's is totally the norm now. It's always been bad on fab but since covid its got much worse.

Since covud I get ghosted every time a meet or social has been arranged.

It's not nice, no matter if folk say it is their loss. We've been ghosted a few times and also by people we have met and become friends, now that is confusing. Just the other week we met a guy in a club. All went well on the night, even chatted for a couple of days after about how respectful it all went on both sides. We had discussed about meeting up again , which again was all going well, then messages stopped and he blocked us. Really does mess with your head

Sad it happened but their loss, you’re a great looking couple but i suspect the reason was they might not have been a coupe but a guy pretending to be a couple.

He could not go through with it as he would be found out so ghosted you, report like someone else has said and get him kicked off the site

It's crap when it happens and we have learnt to always have a backup plan. Whether that be a club visit, a social or just going out for a nice meal and a few bottles of wine. It softens the blow when you have invested so much time in chat and reorganising the home life to squeeze a bit of fun time.

I've always wondered about having a backup to planned meets. The only real backup I could consider a replacement would be another meet which isn't reasonable.

Not going to lie, if happens so much. Hence why we only meet in clubs now. If they ghost, we can still enjoy the show or be the show.

We've always had a "fuck it" kind of an attitude about such things. Sometimes even when you do meet in real life. It just doesn't click like it does chatting.

You'll get what you are after. It's a marathon, not a sprint.

Hasnt happened to me in 5 years but anytime I see a post I still remember the way it feels. It's really shitty.
