Evening do outfit

Hi, I'm trying to decide on the outfit to wear for an evening reception being held at a winery in a couple of weeks time. It is semi formal with a tour of the winery and then dinner. I want to look good but appropriate and have added two potential outfits to my pics today and would love some opinions, but please don't be too harsh, theres only so much I can do with the resources I have.

Both are equally as nice.

Oh and if it has any bearing on the comments the red is a dress and the green a jumpsuit.

I’m leaning towards the green. It suits your colouring well, and I think we are a little too close to red season (run up to Xmas) to be wearing red. Plus in a winery I think the red looks a little on the nose. Green. Vote for green

I like both, but I'd go with thw green for this particular event.

The boots will be more appropriate footwear for a winery tour in October, and then the red dress can be saved for a Christmas function.

Hope you have a great time !

I’m going to buck the trend OP and vote for the dress you wore in your Dec ‘22 pic

That one is a bit to tight on the legs for getting on and off the coach between the hotel and winery.

I prefer the red.

Sorry but the green doesn’t look smart enough to me. You could wear it on a walk or a visit to a garden centre though

I prefer the red dress, though that may be because I'm not really a fan of jumpsuits.

Thank you for all the comments both hear and in my mailbox. It was helpful to get all your opinions.

The red dress seems to be the winner which is a little easier to match with the selection of shoes and handbags I have.

Yea definitely the red is a stunner!

I so want to know how the evening went now!

I do hope that you get propositioned, even surreptitiously
