Water is a crap kind of wet. I have unreasonably long legs that make it very difficult on the angles. It's slippy in the wrong ways. I can't wear my heels or fishnets in the shower. Someone is always not enough under the water to stay warm.

Never the amount of room to be ideal, wet skin is actually more chafing than dry and you spend half your time worrying you’re going to slip and injure yourself

What about those morning showers together after sleeping with a new partner? When you say “I’m going for a shower. Want to join me?” Those times where you’re still exploring each other’s bodies and it’s fun to do it under the warm water with all that lather. Not that you fuck in the shower. Shower sex has its moments.

For example, on a beach holiday when you’ve spent the day in a bikini and he’s been teasing you, you walk back to your hotel with an outdoor private shower, yes please.

Or a massive hotel shower with dual rainforest shower heads, especially if there’s a shower seat built in. It’s as if the shower was made for sex.

As for the height difference, easily solved (for some) by being picked up and pressed against a wall.

At home, it’s fun once in a while but can be more challenging. The best is when it starts on the shower, you switch off the taps and move from the bathroom to a bed, dripping wet and continue. Then, there will be a mess of water all over but easy enough to tidy up.

I’ve kept this up with my partner for over a decade. So long as we’re in the same place. Every morning we shower together. It doesn’t always lead to sex mind.
