It's a myth isn't it?

Before getting into the lifestyle, going to clubs, and being on FAB, did anyone else think that this was all a myth? I used to think it was just something made up by TV shows in the 70s, maybe it happened in the big cities, but not in the small town I love in, Jesus was I wrong!

We didn't think it was a myth but we was surprised how many couples participated in this lifestyle.

Very wrong to say the least, society has suppressed it as it does many things! Wanting to control aspects of our lives

The question is

Is it human nature or are we just kinky as fuck ?

There’s a reason why women can have multiple partners but the male is “spent.”

it has grown with the internet, but there was a thriving scene before, and very enjoyable as there were few timewaisters and if it meet was planned, in my experience, it always went ahead.

Happy Days

Been into the lifestyle for as long as I can remember.

Me and my first wife got in to it after a trip to stud land beach where a guy started wanking over her pussy and ended up fucking her, such a turn on.

We started in the swinging adds now that was fun and no quick dates lol.

She even appeared in fiesta, so much fun

I remember the days of The Journal of Sex with swinging ads at the back, it was a two stage process to contact someone, and a two stage process for them to reply, with JoS claiming a fee for faciliting it. Nobody in their right minds would do this unless they were serious about meeting!

Like several posters on this thread, I started in the 80's and tried the awkward magazine process but my then wife and I just found we were surrounded by more sexually liberated people than we ever imagined; we just had to give out a few hints.......

Not surprised as dogging in itself has been going on as I know since the early 80s was popular locations that I and my friends familiar with which then found funny and tempted

I think back to when I was between the ages of 13-16 in the early 1980’s kicking a football against a wall in our alley and every so often I would look up and see a naked man and naked woman looking out down on me sometimes waving at me and I wonder if they were swingers

Near Clacton

I think you'll find it's as old as the hills. It's just that nowadays it's more out and open and people are very very much more broad-minded and accepting and tolerant. Each to their own as they say.

Decades ago your film stars etc kept their homosexuality firmly hidden rather than be "out and proud", and their sex lives were wild and "swinging", and so too were the "straights".

the pub or in the nude in Paisley

I remember a notice board in a sex shop near where I went to uni 20ish years ago that was free for women to put ads on and the men paid to put their ads up or leave a message for the women. Prior to that I used to get a contact mag delivered to my flat for a previous tenant but I thought it was all bullshit and just trying to make money from desperate men.
