Feels like I’m missing out and I don’t wanna wait until I’m too old to try it lol but I always have been a bit nervous and weary about the risks and kind of naively wanted to wait until I was in a relationship for that sort of thing but the older I get the more I’m tempted

You are never too old, I'd advise waiting for the right person, both get an sti screen and enjoy the moment.

Let your first time be a gift, not only to the other person but to yourself. An unfulfilling experience will leave you with regret x

First off; at the age of 23 now, it's going to be a long time until you are too old for anything lol!

As for the bareback sex; ask a potential partner to have a NHS sti check (you also), and show each other the results. If both all clear, get a room!
