Without even a conversation first, what is that all about.

Are these people being rude ignoring profiles, or are they just really really thick and can't read words of more than three letters??

To be fair, we have actually had a few Meets as a result of people randomly Friend requesting us, so we don`t mind (our profile states that as well.) Mind you, we are a couple of slappers. We don`t have any Private pics, so it`s not so they can perv them.

There are those that like a friends list a mile long because it makes them look popular. More friends they can enlist the better. Others are simply picture hunters, either looking fo wank pictures or more nefarious activities.

I think it’s odd that people don’t look at the profile first. All the reasons above are great examples of why they do it. But I wonder how many people have done it. Got added then seen that the friends only were heavily into kinks and such.

Teach them to read

Most people are attracted to the look of someone, by accepting the request it gives both profiles a chance to see if they would be more or less attracted by seeing more of that person. Its not for all but I've had more chats this way so it works for me

Why not do the polite thing and send a message first??

We clearly state will only friend people who we have met on the scene. Doesn’t stop them trying though.

It's well worth reading this entire thread. We just used to let them sit there. As others point out, it stops them sending further requests.

But, there is additional fun to be had during the odd dull moment, as pointed out by several people. You can periodically go through all your invites, finding ones who are offline, accept the invite, perv their friends only stuff, and then unfriend. Or, for extra spice, and to leave them with a mystery to solve, Fab all their friends only stuff. Great entertainment for a dull Saturday afternoon, thanks to some great posts above for suggesting

My thoughts why

1. They wanna see any private pics you have

2. They like a long "friends" list makes them appear popular

3. They have face pictures in their gallery for you to see if theres interest

4. Other reasons only they can answer

If you don't deletr the request they can't send another

Hi all,

This is a really interesting subject for us, as we are new to this and thinking of deleting our account as a lot of profile are photo collectors in our opinion.

It annoys us when we get a friends request and accept it on the basis of a potential good chat only to then get ghosted or get 1 or 2 messages, but when people have no public photos we have sent a random friends request as we do not want to get into lots of dialogue before seeing if there could be a potential physical attraction.

I used to get friend requests from women competing on hotpics.

I'd never spoken to any of them and some I'd never even heard of so I didn't accept any.

I rarely get them now but the last 10 or 12 have been unsolicited from complete strangers.

I don't delete any of them and that prevents them from sending another.

Don’t accept the requests. Have a conversation first

Sorry, why does it matter, it's easy to delete a request. Guys have it tough on here. I always try to reply to everyone that messages even a polite thanks but no thanks, if I get a request I'll have a wee looky, sometimes even start a conversation if I like what I see. It's not hard clicking delete if that person is not what you're looking for.

Plymouth and Newcastle (sometimes)

I'll give the same answer as when this question arose some time ago and that is it's more a Fab problem than a member being ignorant. I think most friend requests are actually hotlist clicks in the wrong place so if Fab made the friend request an 'are you sure you want to do this' double click type section then false requests would probably be eliminated.

"I'd have no problem someone sending a friend request. It's not something I do, but don't think it's worth getting in a flap over."

There's ALWAYS something to get in a flap over

There will be people that accept such invites just like they're those willing to reciprocate fake verifications. And to send 100 friend requests and only 5 people accept. That's still 5 people I guess? Just like faf messages 9/10 will get deleted but there's always that one person......

I'm not really sure what the benefit of having 'friends' is on here, I very rarely have any contact with most of them and the 'friends only' pics and videos are rarely any different from those in their public section.

As strange as this sounds, I've had numerous couples sending me invitations with zero communication first.

When I look more closely, the usual format is few or no prior verifications and almost all the photos are of a lady.

I'm sure most of you can draw an inference as to the type of member sending these out.

If fabs were to make these requests only possible for full members, and then to deduct say seven days membership for each request this problem would be corrected immediately

I don't think it even needs to be said in a profile.

It's just rudeness to send a friend request before even chatting to someone.

We get quite a few and just delete.but we do wait till they are not online and have a look at their friends only photos.

Would say that 95% of them don't have face pics on there either.

We do have face pics on our friends pics.

I don't get why people get so worked up about friends requests, there is a deleted all button, the same works for winks.

It's a very easy fix.

We must get 5 a day without any conversation first

All single guys of course

Don’t expect any friends request unless we know them , played with them or are seriously considering playing with them

No wonder people don’t take them seriously

I think the way forward is just to block them
