When you get a little bored and the law of diminishing returns takes hold and the excitement subsided a little, is it time to stop swinging? Thoughts please?

A field somewhere

I think it's twice as harsh for couples as it is for single guys, given that there has to be twice the attraction within the 4 people

Any other couples have views on this?

I think sometimes fab can feel like a lot of hard work. We stopped looking for couples on here when it felt like that for us and instead look to meet people at organised socials or clubs. We enjoy the social side and even though we might not play at the time it’s a good may to make connections for the future.

As long as I’m still getting exciting by the thrill of an event or a meet then I’ll keep doing it. The build up and not knowing what a night will bring is the buzz for me.

Maybe try another app too if you haven’t already. I did that for a fresh approach.

Kx

We haven't had a play meet for over 5 years and we'd have to say we haven't missed it one bit.

It was/is great fun if you're both in the mood but we lost that nervous excitement feeling so it was time to stop or take a break.. we may return to playing one day but we're in no rush.

You could do what my ex did and find someone else, set up a profile on here with them, then tell me !!

I'm not bitter

As the adverts say

'When the fun stops, stop'

Or at least step back and return refreshed at a later date

Take a break. Come back later. Ask your friends if they fancy a threesome

Thus is brutal for guys full stop because even getting a hello on here or elsewhere in the first place is a miracle let alone meeting.

Similar to others, the whole saga of meeting new people has become more of a task than it is fun. Always difficult for couples to find other couples as it’s four people / personalities to find an attraction.

We have been very lucky to have met some lovely people so who knows what the future holds......

We echo these sentiments

We pretty much only go to clubs and they are still loads of fun...the day that changes we'll have to think about what's next.

The issue we have is they look at my husbands age and get out of he has looked after himself and in good condition

We get lots of guys after me and we don’t mind that

We have a guy we meet regularly but must admit getting tired of time wasting so maybe time to call it a day

We have periods where we just aren't into fab at all, it's not a lifestyle for us it's a small part of our life that we enjoy, when we aren't enjoying it or don't have the time we take a step back and come back at a later date.

Nothing stays new and exciting forever.

I stopped swinging many years ago (soft swing)....I started BDSM social meets and it's proved itself to be much better.

We go to a club only about once a month, so rather than it get boring we get excited. We've only had two plays this year, so it's still surreal and exciting when it happens. As the betting Ad goes "when the fun stops, stop" (swing responsible!)

This honestly sounds like a lyric from a Joy Division song

Sometimes it’s good to take a break from things, no matter how long. Hope stopping swinging doesn’t mean you stop having fun ! Life’s too short

This is what I was thinking, plus we do organised socials and clubs to keep it fun.

We have also had people say we need X, Y and Z from a couple or it’s a no.

To us this is fun, personally is a big part and if we are howling with laughter it’s all go for us. Dont forget this is fun. We not looking for marriage.
