Question for CD/TVs and admirers

A question arose in a discussion on a social media site, about “Cross dressing”. Someone said, there is no such thing, just “dressing”, and there shouldn’t be taboos about it. I found it an interesting thought.

What do all you lovely TVs think of this idea? Is there something appealing about it being taboo? Is it taboo?

Thoughts please x

The first time I wore a dress outside was euphoric to a certain extent. It was exciting and taboo, the breeze up my skirt a feeling of not being a man for awhile, looking down or in a mirror seeing a different person.

However it was really scary as well, would I pass ? What if someone was to laugh or beat me up ? How would I feel or react, could I get away in heels ?

I don’t dance as a guy it feels awkward and weird, yet put on a dress, makeup and wig and I’m out there handbag on the floor having a great time.

It’s like having two different personalities one can be ultra masculine, motorbikes, ex army, marathon running, sport etc…

But the feminine side needs to be fed occasionally, more empathetic, softer, gentler and most of all able to be someone new and fun.

Not taboo and I doubt many cd/tv's would think it appealing as a taboo. I would agree with the comment in the opening post that is it just simply 'dressing'.

I'm begining to feel so comfortable in womens cloths. I've recently thought how it would feel out in public without my wig and makeup.I will never do it though.

But some sort of distinction is required in the word so that people know the details. A man can describe himself as a dresser and no one is any the wiser to his every day attire. But if he writes cross dresser, then it is instantly clear that he is a male who likes to dress in traditionally female attire.

And by the way, that’s an awesome pair of legs!

Leeds (close to GAP)

I dress daily as per my gallery and it feels entirely 'normal' now. I would say though that when meeting and especially if it involves sex, then it feels more taboo and that definitely adds an edge x x

Do the 'details' matter in respect of labels for dressing in relation to gender? I think not for general every day life. I make it very clear who and what I am in private personal matters at the outset. We all dress in clothes regardless and the only labels that interest me are the ones in the clothes and heels I buy

Yeah, completely fair point there. Good communication and clarity is the key and everyone on Fab should get one cut
