As a couple we discussed this and both realised we each had levels where we would say no. The strange thing was, our no’s were more about things we did not like regardless of ethnicity. Our no’s are more about what doesn’t turn us on and our yes’s were about what turned us on. It did throw some surprising admissions into our conversation. We learned a lot about ourselves and recommend other's have the same chat

This debate seems to draw a fine line between fetishising a race, sexual preference and racism/xenophobia.

For me, and I imagine the majority of men race or ethnicity is irrelevant. If I find you attractive, I find you attractive.

For some, people have a preference of a certain race. On the one hand, it could simply be racial preference but quite often it seems to be racial fetishism.

Equally, those who exclude certain races also walk the thin line of racial preference and racism/xenophobia.

Ethnicity should never be a factor and people should not state it on their profiles

However if someone from another race makes contact either delete their messages or politely decline their contact

That way we would never have any of these racial conversations
