What is it all of a sudden, we're getting friends requests and when we polity say no, talk to us at least firstly, we're getting abuse or just no reply.

Which is the whole point of saying no "politely" if they can't answer then why "SEND A FRIEND REQUEST"

Don't engage. Delete, block repeat offenders and move on.

It's a friend request not a friend demand so you can just delete it if you don't want it

It's annoys me, if I wanted just anyone to see my friends only pictures I would make them public. I never accept when people do that.

Wait until they log off, accept the request, look through their friends only pictures and pick something you don't like.

Then send them a message saying something along the lines of

"Since you sent me a friend request I assumed you were really keen to meet. As you weren't around when I accepted the request, I also assumed you had lost interest and moved on. And sorry, I'm not a fan of (whatever you saw in the friends only pictures).

Send message.

Block.

Far from old farts and love your profile, unfortunately can't message due to filters...

I have it on my profile that friend requests are for people I've already spoken too... So if a randomer sends a request, they're not respecting what's on my profile. If they can't respect that, will the respect me in the bedroom...

I find it quite a useful filtering tool.

The third line of our profile clearly states 'Do not send us unsolicited friends requests, we will not meet with you if you do'.

We figure that if people can't be bothererd to read the first three lines, then there's no point wasting our time with them.

If someone sends a friend request without having the respect to message me first, I just instantly block them. It filters out all the picture-collectors and time-wasters. Hence, my block list is horrendously long lol.

I always wait for an invitation if we have been chatting for a while. I never ask. Although I did accidentally send one the other week when leaving a verification. Luckily I knew the couple involved

Delete and block, then they can’t request you again.

I don't accept random friend requests. If they can't have the decency to chat first then it's an instant delete from me.

Unsolicited friend request.. Simply wait until offline accept, if nothing of interest (generally not) and remove/block..

Mostly pic hunters/munters.

Harsh? yes!
