Hey all just a quick question do you and your partner have a signal for each other to let them know that you want to play or not play with another person/couple with out making obvious to the other party ?

We don't. I think we know each other well enough after 30 odd years that we can recognize from each others body language and interaction whether it's a yes or a no.

No because eventually the other couple will have to be told your decision. We have an agreement that if either of us needs to say something well ask for five minutes alone but otherwise we meet socially and make it clear that we can't make a decision until we've talked to each other. Also signals can be missed, misinterpreted or ignored.
