Fabs rules are quite strict with the correct terms so thinking outside of the box! Some couples might want the conversation of past sexual partners , I agree that it's private though and not somthing everyone would need to know about x

Should have been clearer, this is just hypothetical if you found out that your parter had regularly used that service, or it came up that they had would that be a deal breaker

This, the ‘used’ thing is horrible, I don’t care what they get up to or who they have sex with (as long as it’s consensual, safe and legal) but I do care very much how they view and treat others

Sleep with whoever you like but give people the respect of humanity, it’s not a big ask

Um no. I grew up in Germany, where brothels are legal. Most women are there because the money is easy and they can refuse to fuck if they're too put off. But most just bite the bullet, because cash is good. Really good.

It is work,too. You don't enjoy all of it, I am sure, but get compensated.

And in those countries "women of the night" are a regulated business, that constantly get welfare and health care checks.

There are human trafficking rings that force women to hve sex, yes, it's a bad thing. But you won't find those in brothels, they are too regulated. Women there don't pay a cut of their income to the brothel owners, they sort of just rent the room and if they make 0 or millions, they don't pay more than a previously agreed price.

Would I tell someone to become a whore for quick money? No. But it's not r@pe either. Sexwork is completely different and misunderstood.

It will always exist, because it's a really quick way to get a lot of money, and here in the UK and many other countries of the world, it even is a legal way to do it.

Exactly. But you have an even better insight than any of us. Very brve that you can openly talk about it.

It's just good money. Some people work everyday and hate their life doing work they don't like, but they have no choice but to go every day. Ladies of the night work 1 or 2 years, and then take a very, very long break and have fun. Others work only a few months a year and take the rest of the year off.

It would put me off because I view sex very differently than someone who thinks it is or can be a business transaction.

Personally I am not a fan of hokers and don't go to them but I wouldn't think less of someone who did. If they don't have a girlfriend and need to get their rocks off, and jerking off gets boring, then why not? Why would a woman care that he did?

If you're with someone and they constantly go and fuck some ladies of the night, that's not really healthy and I can see how someone might be hurt by that behaviour. But if it happened in the past there is no harm done or is there?

You can judge a man (although it's not just men I had female clients)...

But please don't claim that it's non consenting when for the majority of sex workers it's a choice for them to work that way....

When GMP had a more relaxed view on brothels I worked in one, 12 different workers a day were on shift, all of us there by choice, all paying tax on our earnings (we all used the same accountant - if you know they are SW friendly then you know you won't get raised eyebrows at some of the receipts!)

I base my views on what I've read about SW in the UK. The much higher risks of SA. The research comparing legalised/decriminalised SW with countries where it's still illegal (Filia writes about this). I've read personal experiences from SW which differ hugely from your own experience, and both are of course equally valid. Am I biased? I'm sure I am. And reading your comments has challenged that bias. Thank you for sharing.

It isn't necessarily just transactional. I still see a few people socially now even though I'm not doing that work, they became friends. In fact I never had a problem but I think I vetted well perhaps. In recent years the only negative incident I've had has been stealthing, and that was a meet from here.

It was work I found enjoyable and liberating. If someone had a problem with me now bc of it, it probably isn't someone I'd likely want to meet anyway.

I've said I don't want to meet men who £ for sex. Not that I had any problem whatsoever with those who are paid. £ for sex is transactional, i don't see how it can be seeing any other way? I know some people see sex/relationships as transactional even if money isn't involved but I'm not one of them.

Every man pays for it. Either directly or indirectly. Everyone’s paying for it. Anyone who goes to a swingers clubs is paying for it, including you (if you go to clubs).
