Why do people presume its the lady that they message in a couples profile?

In our experience the messages from couples address us both. Some from "single" guys (when filters off) address one e.g "You're hot" "I'd fuck you hard", these messages we're unsure who's being addressed

I don't send messages but over the years 95 percent of messages I've received from couples have been written by the woman and I've never engaged with the man at any stage.

The majority of the remaining 5 percent which were from the man never went beyond that initial message as they were mostly just lists of instructions.

The couple's profile I have with my wife is the same, so I know what you mean – it's almost like I'm invisible and/or ignored, which is kinda disrespectful, in my humble opinion. That's why, via my singles profile, I respect and address both people in a couples profile. It's not a difficult concept to grasp, and I find I'm more likely to get a positive reply too
