Our last meet that was supposed to be social turned into something else after a few cocktails and food. So I suppose what I'm saying is pub.

We've met in pubs, restaurants and coffee shops. Anywhere public.

Love the ideas on bowling or crazy golf - how did I never think? Would be great, though i don't like losing so would have to be on best behaviour and not throw a strop if I do!

A Christmas market sounds lush.

Crazy golf sounds fun, not something I'd have thought of, I may have to steal this idea.

Pubs are fine for us.

We don't specifically have a problem with play on a first date if everyone is into it, so happy to meet couples at ours or theirs for a drink, so long as everyone understands that play is absolutely not a guarantee.

Would be ok with a coffee if earlier in the day too.

Still early days in our swinging lives though so never been invited to anything more interesting than that!

Public place as safety first for a single lady so few drinks in the pub ,no expectations of anything physical on a first meet but it has happened on a few happy spontaneous occasions when all are willing

Bars, pubs and restaurants mostly. I’d love more diverse ones a spa day or a walk or something different but then someone starts moaning it sounds ‘date like’

Most of mine have been at a bar, either a bar in town or a hotel bar.

I would meet at a coffee shop too, not so sure about a restaurant though.

My boudoir - S Wales

Had a lush social out walking my friends dog in a park, the fact I still got kisses after picking up a giant poo and being clothes lined by the lead was a good indication he was into me.

Equally enjoy coffee shops. Not so keen on alcohol being involved until later down the line.

Totally get where you are coming from re alcohol, things can sometimes take a wrong turn, but we don't tend to really drink (maybe 1) when socialising or playing anyway.

We'd meet anywhere for the right lady though - wink, wink

After all these years on the scene as a couple we've yet to have a social. We've both had them as singles but not yet as a couple. Our swinging revolves around clubs, parties and random encounters on nights out. So we can't speak from experience as such.

It's fair to say this mainly is because we have limited and random free time. But on top of that we know from experience you really can't tell if something is going to work and chemistry is right till you meet in the flesh. We fear both our time being wasted by no shows (we know this happens a lot) or just after all that ground work the chemistry just isn't there.

However we never say never and hope to experience this one day. So theoretically a good social for us would be meeting for some drinks or a nice pot of tea (like we did on our first social when we met each other as singles all that time ago). Daytime or evening. Not dinner, no food. Just refreshing drinks in a chilled environment where we can let ourselves go a bit and get comfortable in each others company. And although a social ideally with us or them having a hotel room around the corner (which doesn't need to be mentioned before hand). Thus just a no pressure social with the option for more in a neutral space if the chemistry and feeling is right. After all free time is precious and I think most people would also like that flexibility but without pressure to do anything more than a social.
