It’s definitely worth having an account to chat with people. Especially couples as then you can see who is driving the chat.

I recommended it to a woman on here to chat further onwards. And she threw a wobbly at me.

Saying i think she is backwards and in the 70s. I explained.

She would not have it.

And then told me you most men are all the same,anð blocked me.

Somebody told me that it actually sends a notification to others in your contact list that already have the app to tell them you’ve joined and that’s not by allowing it as it automatically just does this…when I googled it it did say the same so I actually just got discord which I find pretty decent and have used my old Skype account to communicate easier.

I unsderstand all that,i like to hear a voice you get the vibe,plus you can laugh etc and adk questions more with a flow of wit etc.

Iam old skool. I can type all day long,but many face to face wont have the skills to vibe,because of the numbed typing many are getting used to.

There should be a voice note feature on here to help those who dont want to take it away from here.

I dont like the camming on here,not for me.

I never had a phone with blocking mechanisms back in 2014 so that was me. Now I can block everything if needs be. So I do not mind chatting off here. I remember though phone numbers used to be not allowed on here.

That's a bit like asking if WhatsApp or SMS messaging are worth a try. It's basically a tool to chat to people you already know. There are groups flying around but don't think you can find them randomly without being invited.

We use it and chat to a couple of guys on there, not been added to a group yet!

It’s a good way to keep things private though as they can’t see your number and it’s not full of spam adverts like Kik!

Yep that happened to me! I joined under my fab name, then had a good friend warn me! Luckily it was late at night, so I was able to change it before my contacts read it! Lol

We use Telegram. Prefer it over kik and it allows us to keep WhatsApp for friends and family so when we log out of everything we don't affect our vanilla life. Which in turn saves blocking people unnecessarily when we don't want to be contacted.

It will notify you if someone in your phone book joins. It will give the name as what theyre saved in your phone as. I dont think you can turn that off.
