Fab profile reviews

Very occasionally I wish we could give reviews instead of verifications. Reviews for communication as well as meets or cams.

Todays review would be to the gentleman (I am refraining from using the words in my head) who sent a message to us which referenced things which he was interested in and that he “saw” we were interested in too - despite our profile saying the complete opposite!

Upon replying with, yes please and the rolling eyes emoji he replied to say he can accommodate amongst some other things - he’d also looked at our profile a few more times and clearly still hadn’t read anything.

So sent a simple reply pointing out that he hadn’t read the profile and that we were definitely not looking for the same things.

And surprise surprise got a reply calling us cunts and weirdos.

Now this is where I would have liked to have left a review. Just a simple one to make sure others know that this person doesn’t read profiles and can’t handle being caught out for not doing so.

I know it’s difficult as reviews could be abused, but it would be so good if there was some way of saying you’ve had a negative experience of another user

Do not like the idea, it could backfire. Those "gentlemen" you complain about that abound in Fab would then leave bad reviews every time they are rejected, then open a new profile and review you badly again and again. The decent average Fabber would be totally exposed to abuse.

Report the guy if he was abusive and focus on the nice people you meet, leave the nasty ones behind, where they deserve to be.

Totally agree with you that it would be abused, it’s just wishful thinking that it would be good to have a means other than reporting. The problem with reporting is it’s too easy to just open up another account and do the same again. Maybe the answer is some kind of verification process that isn’t easy to manipulate?
