It's one of the things I can do occasionally but I get stressed about making sure the house is clean and tidy with clean bathrooms and sheets on the beds.

One thing that always amazes me is some don't bother. Dirty carpets and bathrooms!

I even make sure there's condoms, wet wipes and lube sachets.

My hottub has one rule and that's no sex but lots of cuddles!

Wherever

Hotels for me.

I don’t accommodate as it’s my kids’ home and I don’t want anyone in, and I don’t feel comfortable going to strangers houses, unless it’s a long term trusted FWB but it’s rare to find.

I am with you in terms of inviting strangers. Never would I invite people into my home I didn't know

We always have a clean home. However we do make sure we don't leave anything personal laying around

We put anything personal/valuable away for our guests sake as much as ours.

Our home is comfortable and clean but we'd need to have a good tidy up before anyone but family or good friends visited.

The first time I hosted a couple, I put in loads of effort.

Clean bedding, clean bathroom, bought a nice selection of drinks including fine wine as he was French.

The candles were lit, the crisps were in a bowl and when they arrived I felt like a prat as my fine wine had a cork and I didn't have a corkscrew!

I went to chat with his wife in the lounge as he was left to try and gouge the cork out of the bottle!

Thank heaven for screw tops!

Like most above, I spend the earlier part of the day hoovering, clean the bathroom thoroughly, put out clean towels, lube, etc, put away other stuff. I wouldn't want anyone to be put off thinking I had low standards of hygiene and it's just welcoming and shows appreciation of your visitors.

I like being invited into someone’s home but only if we’ve had a public social before hand . Tonight I had the shock of being invited round while the couples children were at home asleep , utterly disgusting behaviour and I huge no from me ????

Nice, sounds like you've got a welcoming setup. I wouldn't step foot inside the door of a place if it was clearly manky on first sight. I don't understand how people can be like that when they know people are coming round. Doesn't exactly set a sexy mood does it. X

Why change bedding when it'll get covered in fun juices? I put on the shag-set which is a soft luxurious comforter set (+ big pillow cases) in dark chocolate brown. This can go over sheets that are either fresh or moderately fresh. After guests gone, the shag-set gets pulled off and washed.

Ice from trays into freezer bags and trays refilled. Quick hoover. Put some soft music across the Google hub devices so same music in lounge and bedroom.

In winter I love putting on lots of candles to get the place extra warm so people start to strip! Lol

That's happened to me and whilst I get that childcare can be difficult I certainly would not be comfortable in that situation.
