Hi all.

Sorry for the long post, but tonight, we believed we have really dodged a bullet.

We were invited by another couple to attend a House Party next week. There was supposedly two couples and a single female at this gathering.

They had Veris but reading them they all had the same kind of writing style.

They said that they were meeting at an Airbnb in Nottingham that had a Hot Tub. Ok we thought as they were FWB and we don’t judge and that sounded ok.

The day after we started speaking, she allegedly flew out on holiday to Bulgaria so couldn’t have a fem to fem chat which we like to do in situations like this.

My wife said to me that she thinks something is not ringing true so she did some digging.

Firstly, the address they gave simply wasn’t registered as an Airbnb.

Peachy, through her profession found out that the property belonged to a registered business with the name of the proprietor freely available and visible in the public domain. So she searched FB and up popped his name.

Yep. You guessed it. It was the same guy who we were talking to on Fab. He owns the house and it definitely isn’t an AirBnb.

He said his name was Richard and his FWB was called Debbie, however, this is where it gets quite sinister.

They were in fact connected but she was in fact not visiting Bulgaria but Albania and they also had Eastern European names. She had also been there some time.

On his FB Profile there were photos of him sitting in his Hot Tub with several guys all drinking and smoking.

Now this may sound dramatic but we feel we were really being set up to something potentially dangerous. Something may or may not have happened but their story was so full of lies who knows?
