Monthly STI test reminder!

Down the back of the sofa.

After last months test reminder, I thought I’d do another!

As we’re in a group of people that had more sex than others with different partners, we should have regular tests, it’s very much part of the ethical bit of enm!

A quick google will bring you to your free service on the NHS. It’s free it’s easy, what’s not to love

Let’s be the change we wish to happen.

Post below when you’ve ordered!

Some areas are different but there will be some provision! I believe free testing is every three months! I’ve got a few months to wait till my next test!

I started using this service, but am now told I've used too many tests. Doesn't say anywhere on the site that it's restricted so watch how often you ask for a check.

Apart from that it's a great way to keep check of your sexual health

Testing regularly should be the norm for anyone with different sexual partners. it’s not talked about enough. shouldn’t be shameful. my local clinic has always been accessible.

I’m astonished by the pushback I get around this. I put a link on my status to this post and the amount of people I have messaging me saying what have you caught them that you need to test? Or if you’re using condoms you don’t need to test. Well my dears, just because you appear fine doesn’t mean you haven’t got something, it’s also reassuring for other partners. Plus condoms can fail and don’t work in certain circumstances and a certain sex act. I’m sure you’re all giving blowjobs with condoms on aren’t you?

I do believe this is the best option to rather than waiting for snail mail to lose the items, I get tested and never play bareback so to reduce the risk . Condoms please use them.

We test every 3 months. Sh24 won't let you test too soon after last test. And 3 months is the recomended due to incubation. No push backs from us. We like to know our sexual health status. So if need be can get it sorted.

Bumping this as it’s really important to us, in my polycule we test regularly and frequently to keep each other safe and healthy and our friends safe and healthy. It’s just a simple yet responsible thing to do.

We have had an oral swab come back positive in the past. So condoms definitely don’t protect against everything. Do the test people. You can save other people a lot of misery.

Does anyone know if there's a Scottish version of Sh24? Google searches have been fruitless. I tend to use Fettle but it can get costly

I'm only just starting to meet again, just ordered my home kit today! It makes sense to test regularly. I've been in the position of being shamed for 'giving a guy something' which wasn't true. So the test works on a lot of levels for me!

The amount of people that think "oh I've used a condom so I'm safe from STIs" is frightening
