Hey all

We fancy trying somewhere new and have decided on one of these two.

From website info we can see:

ATLANTIS

£20 Couples Membership

£20 Entrance Fee

Bring Your Own Beer

Hot Tub??

Lockers??

No Dress Down

Free Parking

ATTIC

No Membership

£15 Entrance Fee

Bring Your Own Beer

Hot Tub

Lockers

Cash only

Phones Allowed (Not in public spaces but can be carried)

Free parking

Not feeling confident about Attic having no membership ... can anyone just walk in? Phones is a bit concerning too?

Can anyone advise on either or both please? X

Anyone can go to the Attic if they meet the dress code. They have a great security team who mingle with ear pieces keeping an eye out in the public areas. We've never seen anyone use a phone in the public area, only in a room with the door locked.

The attic is a brilliant place.

Although there is no membership required you can’t just walk in off the street without being approved by door staff. You must meet their dress code and single males are controlled in line with the number of couples present. Please don’t that worry you.

The attic is a huge venue and we have found the clientele to be extremely pleasant and respectful, we love the place.

Phones are not allowed in any public spaces, I have never seen anyone using one. No one will stop you leaving it in your pocket if you wish but you will be asked to leave if you take it out in open spaces. There are warning signs everywhere. This is the same as anywhere we have been.

If we wanted to use our phones we will go outside away from anyone or lock ourselves in a playroom alone.

I would try the Attic, you really don’t need to be worried about either point.

People we've met before rave about atlantis but their website isnt great and chameleons (not ready for forced dress down just yet) but nobody really mentions the attic so it's nice to hear that the non membership and phones isn't a problem

Think we will be giving it a try

The Attic having no membership is also a good thing as if ghe club isn't for you then you haven't spend money on membership that you aren't going to use.

Yes you can carry your phone on you as you might need it for emergencies, but anyone caught using their phone in public spaces inside the club will be asked to leave the club, NO EXCUSES (and yes we have heard them all)

We love Atlantis. Every time we’ve been we’ve had a great night there!

But sadly we can’t compare it to The Attic as we haven’t been there… yet!

We're regularly visit AtlantisEvolution and can't recommend it enough

Everyone is welcoming, friendly and down to earth, always good to read the club reviews to get other peoples opinions too.

We like the no dressing down rule, makes us feel more comfy knowing we can...

You are also given a tour by a member of the club, not "staff" an actual member who shares their experience with you and ask as many questions as you like.

I'm a regular at AtlantisEVOLUTION and always consider it to be a gentle place for people new to clubs. I describe it as being like a nightclub that starts off very sociable and friendly and then gradually changes through the night getting a little nsughtier and sexier.

It's very friendly, clean and welcoming.

I was surprised by your thoughts about the website. I went on to the menu and reading the rules about the club, it clearly explains it isn't a wet club and the reason there are no lockers. It also explains about if people dress down during the evening, where clothing and valuables are stored.

Sorry you can't have read that section. I've not looked at the website in months and thought it gave loads of information regarding joining, dress code, calendar of events and loads more.

If you have any questions, phone the club, the owners Cat and Tag are happy to answer any questions.

On arrival everyone gets a tour of the club and a chat about etiquette and chance to ask questions.
