Before the ‘just my preference’ brigade advances, I’d like to know how these stereotypes are formed?

It’s a very common thing to see on fab. I neither identify as white or black, in fact ethnicity is a red herring in my view but to what appears to be a large proportion, this is the most important factor and very commonly stated as being a deal breaker.

For some its about the fantasy/exotic/forbidden eg blacked porn or women who cover hijabs.

For some its about trying something new, as they’ve only ever been around one type of ethnicity.

For some its about whats familiar - sticking to what you know.

For some its genuine preference.

I seek very pale skin. The whiter the better. The reason for this is that it bruises well and leaves amazing colours. My back ground is bdsm based and I love impact play. I also have vein fetish and love to see purple/blue veins of milky white skin. I've had people call me racist on here before but I don't even entertain that foolishness.

I try not to fetishise race but black albinos mixed race gingers with freckles do massivly pique my interest as well as the classic Irish pasty ginger lad.

Ethnicity is viewed as a marker of culture, but culture is more complex than skin complexion. In the 60s and 70s there was more open prejudice towards, black, asian, irish, gypsy etc… but over time cultures adapt.

For me I don't really know any white men in real life so I prefer to met them on here so it's a less chance of accidently connecting with someone I know in real life

Different people have different reasons it's not always about stereotypes etc

In general ethnicity is a fact. There's just no two ways about it so I'm thinking you mean in terms of choosing partners.

As far as that goes I would see having a preference (or not) for a particular ethnicity in the same terms as having a type.

My own typical preference doesn't include ethnicity but I don't see why anyone else's couldn't.

Honestly I think the question you've posited is the red herring.

ive never seen skin colour ive only ever seen people i see lots of different cultures ive lots of life long friends from many different cultural back grounds i guess because i was in a very mixed cultural primary school and secondary that i never saw any different most of my best friends are from different cultural back grounds...

we are all one race the human race..there's nothing wrong with sexual preference but its how you express it that makes the difference ...

OP, why are you Straight not Bi or Gay? Why are you Dom not Switch or Sub? Why won't you meet single guys, couples, trans, or crossdressers? Why does your profile stop at 55? Why do they need to be feminine not butch and they need to dress to impress "your eyes"?

Oh wait... You are you, and you like what you like for the reasons you do. Hmm... Seems like that might be why others are into what they are too.

Sounds like you are coming across profiles you want to message but you do not fall within what they want. Just accept what they are into and move along, they are obviously not compatible with what you need for you.
