I've noticed quite a lot of men on here state in their profiles they are open to a relationship with potential fb's. Has fab become the new dating app or is it something guys say to make themselves more approachable....? It's not a place I would think of for potential partners other than in the swinging scene.

I think it's something guys say to make themselves more approachable.

As a lot of women on here say they are looking for friends with benefits or some kind of relationship.

Personally I'm not looking for fwb or any kind of relationship.

We weren't looking for a relationship when we met on here a decade ago, but I guess 8 years of marriage proves that it can happen.

I think some of the gents have added "open to a relationship" to make them seem more approachable.

There are some genuine ones who are using this platform to date also and there's no harm in that.

People find live in lots of different places.

If the right person came along and wanted a relationship, I wouldn't turn them down.

I don't see Fab as a dating site but sure my profile states I'd be up for a relationship... it's not a hook to lure ladies in and don't expect that but, a genuine if it happened, kind of desire.

Difference with this and more vanilla dating apps, sites etc is knowing that any relationship on the back of fab is going to be more honest and with like minded liberated adults.

I don't want a relationship as such, nor do I want a ONS. Ideally I would find a friendship where we have sex. I don't want the same level of involvement as a relationship, but I do want someone whose company I enjoy and get along with.

Not sure if changed recently and also plenty of ladies with something similar. If anything perhaps more ladies (percentage wise) looking for something a little more serious. Seems fine anyway. Know many people who've met through here - been to Fab wedding of one couple who got engaged within a few months of meeting here and also a wedding celebration at a club of another couple who met here. I think once you've experienced this world and enjoyed it, especially threesome/moresomes/parties/clubs, hard to find somebody in the vanilla world.

I would date someone i met off here. It gets the sex side of things out the way and i’d know they wanted me for me. As someone else said when youre aware of this side of things going full vanilla is a tad harder (imho). Definitely wish fab had a dating section.

first off people should use this site as they want... and as in real life anyone can fall in love anywhere..

however i dont think dating and swinging go together too well and if i was single there's no way id want a life partner from a swinging site id want to fall in love the other way and be open and find out things but thats just me ..

also for every couple who say oh we met via here/swinging thats fine and good but think about it only those who have had success are going to speak up you dont hear of all the disasters that have failed \nd ive seen many many failed...

the main ingredient for a swinging couple is that your a very strong open together loving couple and that cant be got off the shelf for most..

of course some will work thats the law of averages and good on those that have made it work but just think of those who say we did they do it on a forum that is less than !% of the site so thats properly 1% of a very very small number of couples who us the forums...

and im all for a dating section on here so we can see whos looking and whos not

its not a common thing if guys are finding it hard to meet for fun then how hard do they have to look for a lifetime partner ...its a very very slim prospect of it ever happening not trying to piss on anyones fire just trying to see it from a realistic view...
