Anybody out there been put off by surgical scars when meeting?

Mr has just had a full knee replacement and is a little self conscious about the scar.

Thank you for answering.

Feeling good about the knee in general but the aftermath is a little tough going 3 weeks in.

I have never been put off by scars, stretch marks or any other thing of that kind. Scars only mean you lived through something to tell the tale. Scars are for survivors and should be celebrated for what they are, sometimes life changing for the positive and sometimes negative but the beauty I find is in owning it. Whatever "it" may be.

XXX hope this helps x

That's gonna be awkward and will need brought up and discussed because the knees are so integral in the build up, foreplay and orgasming of everyone during a session.

Ask them not to lick out his scar and you should be fine

If you type in 'scars' into forum search, there are lots of threads you will find reassuring hopefully.

I'm more put off by bad attitudes, arrogance etc than I am by scars, disabilities or medical conditions.

I have chest scars from heart surgery, I can’t see anyone worth your time being worried! Knees are hard, it takes lots of work and determination, you must keep at it and good luck to you

Scars don't bother us at all. Who hasn't got to a reasonable age without few physical signs of the rigours of life. They are all part of us and our history. This desire for each other as the humans we are in itself is hot as we accept each other physically as we are and get our filth on together.

Tonypandy.

Not at all. Have long wide scar on back from spinal surgery, several on my legs and one on my arm.

Not bothered me in the least. In fact, I am fascinated by marks and scars, as each carries a story.

Bless him, hope the recovery is going well, I have a nice big scar all down my knee after a tibia plateau fracture and will have a knee replacement to look forward to sometime in my future.

I totally get the self conscious worry but so far no one has been at all put off by it even though I think it sticks out a mile x

After losing 10st, I saved up for some skin removal surgeries, so I am covered in scars- a 360° around my lower body, inner & outer thighs & under arms.

Sure, I might get asked about them sometimes, but I will happily explain them & I've never had a negative reaction to them.

Scars are just a part of our journey through life & it would be more unusual to find an adult without one!

I have quite a few scars on my back over an incident in the Army. I can’t (obviously) see them and I only remember they’re there in the winter when they hurt a bit.

Luckily they’ve never been an issue with any partner, in fact don’t women like scars ?

I’m a little conscious of my scars, worried it will put people off. I had big chunk of thigh removed along side 13 lymph nodes through pelvic region!! Since the 10 more small op including one next to little GWA!! All I say is Fcuk cancer.

Haven’t met since big op in 2020.

I had a casual thing with a girl from Cardiff who had open heart surgery as a child. Scar was down her chest stopping just below her boobers.

I found it so individualistic, really sexy and honestly she wouldn’t of been as nice on the eye without it.

Scars tell the persons story.

I have a 10” scar down my knee from surgery no one really mentions it anymore once it faded out more.

Keep the bio oil on scar twice a day to help reduce the texture / colour of it

Never be self conscious about scars I look at them as history.

Some interesting and some not so interesting.

Anyone who looks down at them is someone you don’t want to meet anyway.
