Ok fellow fabbers, you have always been great with advice in the past. So here I go again asking for more.

I am becoming increasingly curious about the club scene. I live in Manchester and have read the club reviews and quite a few seem very interesting.

I would love to visit one as a single lady on a Saturday and want to know which is the best one for a newbie like me. I don't necessarily want to play, not yet at least. I am not looking for anyone to escort me, this is not a thread asking for a playmate.

A lot will depend upon what your expectations are?

Clubs can be quite busy and appear overwhelming for a first visit, especially on a weekend.

And some clubs have more restrictions on the amount of single men in the club.

Yes, for all the clubs everyone should treat you with respect and appreciate (if you tell them) that it is your first visit.

But as a single woman you will automatically draw more attention.

So in my opinion...

Even in a social 'checking' out a club first time visit, make your choice based on what you think you will be most comfortable with.

(lots of men or a restricted number and then maybe more couples)

I have two main preferences for clubs (in Manchester or near by) but that is because they work for me.

The club review section will provide an idea of who normally goes to them.

The other thing I could suggest is that if you want to just visit a club to get a feel for it (when it is less busy)

Consider (if possible?) a midweek visit.

Some clubs do social nights or couples and single women only nights.

Maybe a gentler introduction to the club scene?

But a lot depends upon your expectations, wants and personality.

I know Manchester is 80 miles a way but you will find most clubs cater for single women we use chams this is a friendly club an many couples love an extra women it also has rooms for overnight stops don't be afraid to try

Well Yohoho, there's a fair range of choice, I'll see if I can help.

The 2 Manchester clubs are Adam & Eves in Eccles and Cupids in Swinton, with Partners in Bury, Liaisons in Rochdale and No 3 in Chorley being a further distance out, you'll know how far with you living in Manchester.

All of the clubs are sauna style clubs which means either on arrival or shortly afterwards you will need to undress to either a towel (normally for guys) or into lingerie in it's various formats. To my knowledge, none of the clubs mentioned run couples nights over a weekend (Fri/Sat) though some do have couples only on Sundays or during the week.

All the clubs will welcome a single lady, and none would expect you to play unless you chose to do so. Indeed if you let the club management know it's your first time most will pay special attention to you as your a valuable resourse for thier club and they'll want you to return.

Adam & Eves is a smallish club based over 4 floors with 2 private payrooms, a jacuzzi & sauna and a pool table. It's not a club that meets everyones tastes, partly because it's a fairly basic club, but it's most redeeming quality is in my experience it's the friendliest club that I have been to. It attracts couples, single ladies and doea have a fair quantity of single guys that go to the club, so if you don't want to be in the company of single guys (not necessarily to play with them) then you might not like the club as much as some do. It's busiest days and nights are the usual Fri/Sat but it also hosts various parties normally on a wednesday which are well attended.

Cupids I went to recently. It's a large club split over 2 floors with lots of private rooms and a smaller range of public play areas. It has sauna & jacuzzi and the club looks good. More people will go this club than Adam & Eves, but because it's a bigger club unless it's got lots of people in it might look quieter than it really is. While I have no doubt you'll find plenty of people to chat to, it does seem slightly harder to get chatting to lots of people, though that might be a combination of the club layout, with it being larger than A&E and also with there being more people in.

Partners, I haven't been to for a very long time, but it's most famous feature is it's very large spa area. It also has a maze and lots of private playrooms.

Liaisons I haven't been to for a while now but last time I went, it looked somewhat tired and old to me and in need of some investment, so you'll have to get advice from someone who's been more recently than me and No 3 I haven't been to so can't camment.

All in all, whichever club you choose, you should enjoy, you can stay "dressed" on the basis of how I described above all night and you can safely venture into open play areas just to watch or to join in as and when you wish, with the option to go private if you want. If your looking for guys, all the clubs will be able to cater for you, and as for couples or other single females well again no problem.

I'm going to my first club on Saturday, however, lucky enough to be going with a friend, to show me the ropes and look after me. Might be worth considering asking a friend to go with you.

As I said, this was my opinion as a single man.

I know many single women who visit clubs on their own, both during the week and at weekends and enjoy themselves a lot (socially and from a play point of view)

Maybe during the day you will get a couple of opinions from women, that hopefully provides a different view.

But if you feel drawn to a club from the reviews? And are curious about a visit.

Then go for it, contact the club and make your way down.

They don't lock you in once you get inside

sit around the bar or chill in a jacuzzi, clubs are good fun and a nice chance to relax.

I would suggest Cupids on Friday rather than Saturday (it is a bit quieter) and arrange to meet someone there for moral support..

Ignore the comment about having to play, that is so untrue.

Personally id not go to a club on my own, its nice to have company and its more of a laugh to take a friend as i found out.

You dont have to play at all. Even if you go into play areas, i didnt first time i went!

Some single men followed me about which was a pain in the arse so sont be afraid to say a polite no thanks, if they persist have a quiet word in a member of staffs ear all should be ok.

Stay safe... Dont get pissed.

Last and not least have a great time and just in case take some condoms

im not really a club goer, though I believe that after certain times everyone is expected to dress in robes - especially if they are walking around the various rooms, simply so other mombers dont feel pried upon.

As well as the fact that youre a woman.. youll undoubtedly attract a few guys/couples and unless you are very resilient, one thing leads to another

I wore a sexy dress n heels. Its all you need if not playibg but if going in play area to be a voyure you still need to be in "bedwear"

Second time i went i wore nice undies stickings heels and my silk black gown.

Don't believe what people say about you being followed around by slathering single men - I've been to Chams and Isis on my own several times and its never happened. If you do not wish to play stay at the bar and chat to people as they come up for their drinks. If you have no intention of playing then you don't have to change into towels or skimpy lingerie - thats only for playrooms.

And as said above, the word 'no' is your best bet against unwanted attention. I hope you enjoy yourself - clubbing as a single woman can be extremely enjoyable.

If you'd prefer a club where you can stay dressed consider crossing over to Gods own county and trying la chambre.

But whichever club let the staff know it's your first visit, get a comprehensive tour and ask for an introduction to some regulars.

Don't be afraid to speak your mind - politely! If someone is crowding you or being pushy tell them. If you get asked to play but are not interested then say thank you by no thanks. If you might be interested but not this time say perhaps another time.

A good club is something of a community, one which in a few weeks you might be a regular member of, so.keep it friendly and amiable and polite unless someone really crosses a line - uninvited touching is the big no-no.

As for dressing, in a clothed club like la chambre whatever you like - I've seen people in jeans. In a towel club the just a towel, your undies and a towel, or if like me you prefer to be a little more covered up the your undies with a little slip over the top.

Have fun. Oh, and don't be scared to talk to people, just say hello, it's my first visit and I'm nervous.

We have been to a club and not played and not felt that we have had to x

I have (in the past) been to Chams on my own and it was always fine, i wore a towel as i liked to go in the jacuzzis so a towel was best for that but i prefer that anyway. If anyone gives you hassle then other people there will help and so would the staff but generally its ok there

I'd second la chamber, been on my own as a single girl and had a great time. Saturdays are the day to go as its couples/single ladies only. Ben on a Friday once but were a few too many touchy feely guys around for my liking.

You should check out Infusion in Blackpool. Not too far on the train (I live in Manchester and only go there). It's small, has a relaxed atmosphere and there's no compulsory dress down. They also have a couples and females night on either Friday or Saturday. Have fun wherever you end up x

I went to a club on my own one time. I must say it was such a liberating experience! I was nervous at first, but soon got chatting with some people and playing. I definitely recommend single ladies going alone at least once. The club staff are there if you need any help with any nuisance people. I feel very safe at a club and now it's my preferred location for meets.

I went in my own for years and found it to be great fun. The first time I went I arranged to meet another lady up there for moral suport but once I got over the initial nerves I would go up whenever I fancied a nice relaxed night.

i have been there loads of time as a single guy. I have seen lots of single women and couples.

Advice:

Get chatting to people...even if it is bar staff

don't get pissed

Don't be afraid to say no thank you.

Take some condoms

When i go sometimes i want to be a voyer sometimes an exhibionist so it make up your mind what your looking for and run with it

Tosh! If you just want to visit and watch that's your choice, nobody will force you to play.

However, it's possible that you may be so turned on as a voyeur for your visit that you won't be able to keep your hands off yourself! lol

Well we went. Arrived early so it was a little quiet and we could calm our nerves. The staff were lovely and gave us a guided tour. I tried everything in the dungeon. Solo I hasten to add. Because of all the steps, the heels had to come off straight away.

I watched a foursome in one of the rooms, a gangbang in another. Used the sauna and jacuzzi. Even had time for a couple of games of pool.

It was incredibly easy to say no. I had a few guys try to have a few sneaky feels. For me though, there just was not enough single guys.

So we both left at the end of the night thoroughly enjoying our first club experience. But did not play.

I would recommend any single female to go along to a club though. It did make it easier going along with another female though. Xx

I've often said there should be a buddy system on here for nervous ladies to have someone to go to clubs with. It is a lot better to have someone to chat with than be sat alone fending off people.

I agree, I went with my bestie for my first visit, she'd been before, and now I go regularly on my own. I'm having my party at cupids next Saturday ladies! Be brilliant to see you there!
