That feeling of anticipation when a couple or a female send you a wink…..

I don’t find it lazy more a useful way to see if there is any interest before you send a message.

So wink away

Totally agree! I don’t know why some people don’t like it! I think it’s the easiest way to know if they like you or not!

Likewise... Although we use them as a non pushy way of saying we like the profile, and then no pressure on those we wink if they don't want too

I received a wink, felt amazing, proceeded to send a well thought out message..... Then it got ignored lol,

A case of mistaken wink I'm thinking.

Total agree with a wink to show interest in stead of writing message to them be deleted it’s like an icebreaker

I agree it’s a good little indication that you’re interested without being too pushy x

Surrey mostly when over

Love a wink and it’s so nice to get one.

Like above, I’ve also had a wink arrive and then sent a fairly well worded message thanking the sending only for it to be ignored alas.

However, I have had a lovely wink this week and am chatting to a lovely lady xx so they do work xx

nae danger.

I only really use the wink feature to show interest these days I don't bother with the whole message thing as on here messages are pointless unless recieved no matter how much effort you put into it

Agree with the OP here. Winks are a very useful and shorthand way of gauging interest. It's quite nice to get winks (obviously it doesn't happen very often for me so it still has a positive novelty value). I don't think it's lazy, myself. More akin to a poke in the chat rooms.

I can understand why some may not like it but that's why there are multiple ways to interact on the site. Finding common ground as you start to develop more of a connection. Or not.
