Friend requests from far away

I have been on the site for some time now and been very honoured and lucky to have met a few people to have fun with and a few pics to remember them by. I now seem to be getting friends requests from people who are a very long way from where I live. Is it because they are pic collectors who want access to the pics I have posted in my profile or is it something else?

I was told by someone that they accept friends requests as it makes them look genuine as they then have lots of friends, I don't display mine as I like my privacy.

Maybe some just want to chat or cam so distance shouldn't matter?

We get this all the time. Don't mind a friend request if we have some sort of interaction at some point but not just out the blue.

We only have one friend only picture so it can't be pic collectors. It is a bloody good picture though!!

If I get random friend requests I block them cause it just makes it look like they want access to the pics. If I get messages from people miles away I tend to block as well, just so they cant msg again to help me cut down the unneeded messages

The sender could live on the next road if I have not spoken someone a few times and got to know them a bit. Access denied I don't accept friend requests off randoms.

Some people just are willing to travel miles, I've had guy drive 2+ hours to meet me, maybe they are interested in meeting or expecting you to do the traveling so it don't matter to them where you are

whats the meet going to be?-ie length of time etc

I could be in birmingham next week for £11 on a megabus...perhaps getta premier inn hotel room for £30

maybe even go to a club...

its all happened...so whats too far?

I allow friends from far away that I have no chance of meeting because they are interesting, have the ability to communicate effectively in this medium and they come across as having a pleasant personality. I would hope they find me the same. Sometimes I don't message them much but I like them

being there for when I do. I'm very visual so look at lots of people photos, even those I won't ever contact. I don't collect the pics, just look at them.
