I have recently had my contraceptive implant removed (Hubby has had the snip) and all Hell has broken loose in our house.

I have been using hormonal contraceptives since I was 17, obviously excluding when I was pregnant, and within a month of having it removed, I was this uncontrollable insatiable beast, horny 24/7 and fucking Hubby into an early grave. And when I say horny, I was still horny straight after sex.

Although we're both loving it, even with the help of other guys, I think he's feeling a bit exasperated and it is hard to focus on other things in life when your mind is continuously stuck on fucking. I have already burnt out the motor on my wand too

, so my question is:

Ladies, if you have ditched hormonal contraception and experienced the same sort of thing, does it ever regulate itself or calm down? And if so, how long did it take?

Hubby says I may have to go back on the pill just to give him a break, lol. x

I'm not much help OP. We certainly go on a roller-coaster with our hormones.

And God Bless the partners who stick by us through it. It's not an easy ride, so to speak.

I have been in that position before. A fuckbuddy did had the same issue, and the answer is in the lifestyle. By being a swinger you have a whole community to support you into satisfaction! So utilize that network!

Definitely noticed a difference when I came off the pill.

Now perimenopausal so things are all over the fucking shop

Hoping to start HRT soon which will calm me down in one way and rev me up another way!

As a HRT user.. I can say. You will get back to "normal" just stick with it. The side effects are minimal compared to pros
