I'm normally fairly natural but tidy up for meets and club visits. I feel wrong without pubic hair.

However, removal of body hair, especially pubic hair, is common for both sexes

It's just your personal preference. Being comfortable with your natural body hair isn't abnormal. To me it shows they don’t feel the need to conform with current trends, not a bad thing in my eyes.
