Arranged a meet with a single guy, we both spoke to him, all seemed good. Spent the whole day cleaning and tidying, getting ready, dropping off the little one to the babysitter, only to receive a text actually informing us he'd bottled it. Cheers for the honesty but still! Now were too annoyed to arrange something last minute for this evening. Not looking for sympathy or advice, just ranting!

yer i know how you feel , i had that a few weeks ago with a couple , finish work early rushed home bathed shaved got ready, tidyed up, not that it needs much tidying as i live on my own , then hf hr befor they wer due , the message came though sorry we cant make it , its more annoying rele thinking uv rushed round for wat, nothing at end of it but hey ho it happends

I only meet single guys, but I always meet socially first for a coffee and chat and to relax playnates.

In five years not had a bottler yet.

The way I arrange meets wouldn't be any problem for me if they did. If I had to arrange sitters etc I'd not be happy!

Threw it back in their face lol its not charity they are offering! I'd rather someone didn't turn up if they weren't 100% into the meet. Nothing worse than a meet who is so nervous they can't get it up or end up sat in silence cos they don't know what to say.

Have to say your attitude is what puts me off some single men. You turn up regardless of how you feel about a meet because you just want to get your end away. Men must be grateful whenever a couple deem them appropriate to play with them

No i meet after I've chatted and seen a couple, and I know I would like to play with them. I've had the offer to meet couples without seeing pics of them and also couples that play bareback and I've turned them down.

But if he was aware of the need for them to make child care arrangements in order to meet him - cancelling short notice due to 'cold feet' is out of order In my book. An 'emergency' or illness would be different.

Without knowing the full details its not a question of taking sides - just with the limited info known I'd have to side with the OP's.

Ok this gives all single guys permission to tell huge big fat lies as to why they can't make it.

I understand how frustrating it must be to have sorted out sitters but I for one would much rather somebody had the balls to tell the truth rather than turn up and feel out of their depth and possibly end up leaving early. At least the couple have got the chance of having a night without children to enjoy it could possibly have been a very bad night otherwise.
