Totally understand why I see so many people when looking for a meet up they insist on 'safe sex' only which I guess makes sense for all parties involved tbh.

If STI's were not so easily transmitted would it still as 'required by people' do you think ?

I know people who won't use condoms and only want 'bareback sex',again their choice entirely..

This question is for males/females/couples..anybody indulging in penetrative sex what would be your preference ? And if no condoms were used where would guy unload ? Inside her body/on body/mouth or any other area ??

Really intrigued me when was talking to a good friend of mine late last night.

It's gf's/my choice when playing with a male if condoms are used,but we have a regular fwb from here who we totally trust to be clean and never used protection with him.

Safe sex always for us. It might not feel as good as bare but going bare just isn’t worth the risk. STIs and pregnancies are not side effects we want completely understand why people take the risk but it’s just not worth it for us.

Condoms always, including for oral.

That being said, it doesn’t take away from the need of a good STI testing regime an should do both.

The amount of forum posts and comments like this confirm it for me.

Most people’s sexual education and health knowledge isn’t as high as I expect, not worth it haha.

However......How many people insist on a dental dam being used when giving oral sex to a lady?

I've been involved in the swinging scene for 30+ years and have never seen or used a dental dam nor has any lady I've been with ever requested one be used.

My view is there is always people with compatible interests and you just have to find the ones that match up . no biggie if people dont align its life, we are all human at end of day ..

some like bareback , some like to smoke , some like to drink alcohol, some like eating bad food and have poor lifestyles with health . etc.

For me, it's a simple rule - someone new, always covered up....longer term thing with some

someone where there is complete openness, then bare is ok...so far in my life, no problems with this approach

Does anyone know what the risks actually are - statistically?

Can anyone actually quantify the risk and compare it to the risk of say, driving (or maybe riding a motorcycle), horse riding, or other risky things many of us do for enjoyment and thrills.

And what's the risk of contracting STIs through bareback sex compared to say, the risks of heart disease from eating certain foods, etc?

We're curious to see how bareback sex compares to other risky - or even mundane - activities.

The risk is very low however it would be complicated and misleading to try and put a number in it as there are so many variables. The most obvious variable is the sexual history of the person you are having sex with. A swinger who regularly has unprotected sex will be a risker proposition than someone who has just come out of a long term relationship. Rough sex will have more risks than gentle love making etc etc

We often see profiles of couples who have enjoyed bareback sex for many years and wonder how they've failed - STD-wise.

There's another problem with bareback that I don't think everyone realises and that's that some women's vaginal flora just can't cope with huge amounts of unfamiliar cum and this can lead to problems like BV - symptoms of this include a very smelly fanny (smells like fish or rotten meat) This can obviously be very embarrassing and too many GPs don't understand it properly enough to treat it correctly (or at all).
