We just wonder why peeps go to the bother of exchanging several messages, send their face pic, talk about meeting for a drink, ask for your mobile number, & then just ignore you ??????

Strange, they are wasting their own time as well as ours...

It happened to us twice today....do you think they are, "Merchant Bankers"

It's happened to us 4 times this week, we accept we're not everyone's cup of tea, what does bother us is when they don't have the decency to so “We're not what they're looking for” just totally ignore us, 9/10 people contact us showing interest, you'd think they'd have the decency to at least be courteous, guess it's not in some people's vocabulary

Aw it was wasn't it ... some folk are fickle and others like to suck up so don't worry too much ... just keep being polite and don't let one or two lukewarm responses put you off posting ... have fun and folk will have fun with you

Had arranged to meet up wth 2 guys last night just in case 1 or the other didnt show go to all the bother of getting dressed up arrange for the sitter to come as hubby was out aswell arrange the time and place sit there for about 1 1/2hrs only to end up going home alone so go to check any possible late messages in case they couldnt make last minute and guess what ?? 1 has now blocked me ffs and he other 1 is online but not answering messages ive sent asking why didnt he show up

May as well have stayed at home saved the money on the sitter and watched a good film or met up with a couple who were also looking to meet up with me but put them off because of the prior meet up makes my blood boil grrrrrrrrrrr gonna go open up my block list now and add both of them

Taken them both back lol i even said to both of them to look at each others profile and they were both on each others friends list so they both knew each other would be there and knew it may have ended up as a mmf, still the chance for both of them to meet up with me has now been and gone they will definately not be getting a second chance to meet

Both verified profiles most probably verified each other come to think of it never mind another day in paradise off to the pictures later with a girlriend to watch christmas carol hope that doesnt let me down lol xxx

Gah, as a newbie to the site and to the 'scene' in general, I find it frustrating that there are people who get the opportunity to meet people they're clearly attracted to (otherwise why did they bother contacting them in the first place?) and don't go through with the meet. How inconsiderate of them.

There are those of us who don't even get the opportunity to not show up!

We have had that happen to us loads of times and we believe it is because swinging has become too mainstream! Too many want to be "in" and don't actually want to meet! We have actually had couples tell us that all they want is to talk about it online!!

As long as we know upfront that is what they want, no problem, but when they string you along for their own gratification and then make excuses and disappear, it can be very annoying! These people are not swingers, just wannabe's. We just move on now, not worth getting angry for

Wish we could go back a few years to before it became so popular.

it is easy to fantasise about the good old days,as a cpl who have only just discovered the web we can affirm swinging went on in the dak ages,but there were also wasted nites when you were really up for it and nothing happened,we try to give the benifit of the doubt,tho have never been let down by single men,only other couples.

We assume that there excuses are genuine,but then we do try to think the best of ppl

the trouble really stem's from the fact that the tinternet has made things so much more open and easy, way back in the early day's when swing was more on the lines of swapping partners, most people met through contact mag's or by word of mouth.

With society being more open and upfront these days, swinging isn't kept so much in the dark, so like with all other site's, be it swinging, dating or what ever your going to get an element of undesirables logging in to these sites and using or abusing them and those that are on them, It's only my opinion but i think in a lot of case's those that arrange meets and don't turn up are most likely teen's who have found the site and logged in under false accouts( ie not given there right age, and the likes)( this has been found to be the case on other sites) and see it as a great evenings entertainment winding up those of us who are here for what the site is set out to be used for.

Its long been my belief and that of a few others who use sites like this, that by posting whinge's and moans all you are doing is feeding their ego trip, because i'll bet £10 to a 1p that not a single one of the people who have let others down have posted that they themselves have been let down, or in fact have posted in the forums at all.

I personally think that if we all stopped posting about those who have let us down and just treatd them with the contempt they truely deserve and ignore them totally that eventually they would bore of the whole thing and go away.

Then all those who are genuine can get on and enjoy what this site is here for, to find likeminded people and enjoy each other, and maybe just maybe the singletons be it male or female would stop getting ridiculed as they so often do, and also the few couples who suffer them ignomy of wasting their time aranging meets only to be let down might just get what they want too, and they wont be wasting their time posting the endless threads we seem to endure about how their time has been wasted again and again.

Glad to hear, if thats the right way of putting it, thats its not just us single males who are deemed as letting people down, couples and single females seem to aswell.I think its a case of arranging something, expecting it not to happen, so its a bonus when it does. I guess thats easy for me to say because I dont have to organise sitters!!!

The truly annoying thing for me is that if i had known both guys wouldnt have shown up there was a couple who also wanted to meet with me and by the time i finished hanging around they had already met another couple and gone on to a club for drinks and whatever afterwards

Like has been said there's a lot of fantasists around. Me, I go through with things good or bad. You can always say thanks but no thanks if you don't hit it off but I guess some people can't face that when it comes to the crunch. I'd say their loss.

Unfortunately there are more discourteos folks on sites these days yhan there used to be. Yes it doesn't take more than a couple of minutes to say no thanks.

A lot of folks tease and promise the earth and have no intention of following through. Yes they mask the true nice genuine people who used to proliferate on the site.

If everyone pre judges then the whole swinging scene is doomed, you have to give people the benefit of the doubt and hopefully time and the nice folks will win through.

Hasn't worked for me this year, had two meets in last 18 months, I haven't changed but the scene has.
