I'm so excited to have booked a trip to Sunny Beach, Bulgaria and also to discover that there is a nudist beach there.

Visiting a nudist beach has been on my list of things to experience for a long time, so I really need some etiquette/safety advice as I'll be heading there alone please.

Bulgaria is an amazing place. The people are lovely and the food is great.

Im afraid I don’t know anything about the nudist beach but I’m reliably informed that Sunny Beach was purpose built back in the day for ‘Russian Visitors’ and became quite swinging gambling town with a reputation equal to those 18 - 30’s holidays in Ibiza. Since the Ukrainian-Russian situation I suspect not so welcome.

Have a great time without your clothes….. Nothing better…. Sun, sea and…. What did I come here for??

I went there over 25 years ago and stumbled onto the nudist beach while d*unk my advice don’t go while d*unk I got naked and fell asleep forgot to apply sunscreen very burnt lol

Oh that's brilliant! So I picked a Country, region and Hotel having been before, not knowing anything of the region and you are telling me that I've chosen a place that was originally a purpose built swinging holiday destination?!?! You couldn't make it up haha

The naturist beach is south end of Nessebar beach. I’ve been there and can assure you that it’s very safe, friendly and relaxed. You’ll have a wonderful time!

As a single lady I would personally chat to a couple and lay down next to them as you would look as though you are all together. At least until you build up your confidence. Or you could search who is local to find a friend to go with.
