Ok so here’s a pondering question

what excuses do you give family/close friends if you’re out playing/club etc

Luckily i’m really into music and i use seeing a band as an excuse often.

But for example hubby & i are actually seeing a band this sat, on Fri 19th we’re going to a

club night & i know my mum is gonna quiz me where im going & it’s a Fri can’t exactly use “crochet club” when hubby is going too

what’s everyone’s excuses & telling them to mind their own business isn’t my thing/our family

luckily with HW childcare isn’t required - but when playing as a couple

help this mama out xx

How is it controlling behaviour to take an interest in your life? Do you not take an interest in anyone else's life?

If you're parents leaving your kids with someone it's also about practicalities for if something happens ie child has an accident etc.

Why does everyone have to feel repressed by everyday life

How is it controlling behaviour to take an interest in your life? Do you not take an interest in anyone else's life?

I know my mother drives me batty but we converse about our lives this is just a secret

We tell friends/relatives that we're going on a 'date night' - technically true, and we've never been questioned further about it.

well when your mother is sitting in your house watching your kids - often they ask

oh we’re are you going

I could tell her to go FK herself but good chance i’m no longer going out as not babysitter
