OP - there are a number of people in wheelchairs on this site. The ones who have been on here a while tend to make it quite clear in their profiles what they can and can't do sexually 'up front'.

Meet people (as your the one who is disabled?) or meet someone who is disabled?

As is clear from what people have said in the rest of the thread, the disability has little if nothing to do with it, the requirements are the same for anyone...

Make sure your profile is well written, be as original as possible, a few decent photos (not just of your penis) and send out interesting and imaginative emails

I suggest you need to seek professional help, you obviously need some help and support to become happy and confident about yourself without relying on sex with a stranger to make you feel better

It would be a no from us. Not because of your disability but purely because your profile is so poor.

This may sound harsh and it is not meant to but there are countless threads by single guys complaining that they can't get meets and moaning that it is because of their race, or build or are etc etc. And to me you are guilty of the exact same as all of those other threads which is focussing on the negative, the thing that can't be changed and using that as an excuse rather than focussing on what you can do to make getting meets way more likely. Non of us appeal to everyone but your profile is doing nothing to promote you to those that may be interested.

no body is perfect we are all different and to be honest if you look closely at anyone there is always something not quite perfect.

I wouldn't meet someone with a disability. Sorry if this offends anyone. I would not meet mixed race or coloured people either. Call me a racist and anti disabled if you like but just not my thing. Attraction or not the answer would be no. I'm sure there lovely people and sometimes a disability isn't the persons fault but I wouldn't meet them regardless. If I was in a relationship with and person and they became disabled in any way then that would be a different scenario and would stay in a relationship with that person.

Pork and I had an offer for a meet a while ago and although this guy was in a wheelchair and was said to be fully functioning in the sex department. I had to decline gracefully as my daughter uses a wheelchair and for me it just didn't seem right. For that reason alone i/we don't meet disabled...

Yes i was very fortunate to have met both a really sweet lady in 2010 who was disabled and we had a good sexual relationship till she married in 2012 and a great Bi guy who suffered cerebral palsy; and he is nice person and we bring a smile to each others faces lol

Very true is prefer it to be out in open up front and depending on the disability after all if we enjoy certain types of sexual activity day if an individual isn't capable if partaking in then a polite no should suffice

I really enjoyed chatting to a guy on pof he was great to chat to very fit and good looking chatted for months and the day before we were due to meet he sprung it on me I was upset he hadn't told me upfront and felt the need to tell me as follows " just so you know before we meet I'm in a wheelchair so I guess that means you aren't going to he interested no need to reply I understand it happens all the time " go smacked was no word to describe how after a few months he thought that was the kind of person I am and how fuking rude to imply that needless to say he angered me and got a very angry response about how before he's even met me it seemed he had already made his mind up about me and how date he discriminate me and treat me like that yes be might be stuck in a chair he might not be able to do anything about but his attitude certainly needed a makeover ! Needless to say hour years on from what I gather reading his pof profile he still has a very large chip on his shoulder

I would need someone to be honest about any disability so that I can make a judgement myself whether it would affect me getting intimate with that person. It would all depend on the nature and severity of the disability. None of this would matter if I wasnt physically attracted to them anyway, so my normal approach would still apply, I still need to fancy someone and get on with them before anything is considered.

I have preferences about who and what i look for in a meet so if the person fitted all those things and was disabled then yes i would meet them .... however i am disabled myself so maybe i am a bit more open that others at times .... someone being disabled in anyway wouldnt not stop me from wanting to meet someone

When I was in Northern Ireland years ago, in the RAF, there was a party on base and afterwards a disabled girl (with amputated legs) ended up in one of the barrack block rooms, and she was lifted from bed to bed and shagged by the occupants in turn. She enjoyed it and so did they!

Love how 'disabled' is one big category.

Most of us are disabled in some way. My right knee has only two ligaments left in it due to years of rugby and I count that as a disability. I can't cross my leg without my kneecap popping out!

i dont even think connection is more important when it comes to sex

I know a guy whos in a wheel chair, ive known him years and hes told me a few times he has feelings for me, hes a none swinging friend by the way, hes a lovely guy and i value him dearly as a friend, was he abled bodied i think i may have had sex with him several times by now but because hes in a chair i just cant, why?....because he has no feeling as all from the waste down so for me whats the point, whats the point in playing with a guy who cant feel anything, no point sucking his cock and he cant get an errection so i couldnt have sex with him, so what would we do, kiss, cuddle and him play with me? that maybe enough for him but thats not what im looking for in sex and i think it would be more patronising doing it when i dont want to so as not to hurt his feelings than being honest and telling him i dont like the idea of playing with a guy with no feeling waste down

Def yes. But as a lot of people, honesty and attraction has a lot to do with it. I used to have 'breakfast' of an disabled lady (one arm missing from the elbow down) and we were great friends before and always had a lot of innuendo flying around so found it easy.

Met a couple a long time ago with one partner disabled who wanted me to 'do the honours'. Devil's done similar over the years too. Can't underestimate the deep friendships and mutually appreciative understandings that go alongside sometimes, and among the lesser-abled you really do meet a better class of person

sometimes the time that you focus on on why you can't get a meet isn't the reason at all.... but it then gives you an easy out....

for example.. if i was to play race and say "oh the reason why people won't meet me is because I'm black" places all the blame on them, and none on you....

blameless.....

but the reason may well be something completely different... for example, shit messages, shit profile, loads of people wanting to meet but you haven't been able to stand out, ect ect ect....

the biggest sex organ is the brain, sometimes it helps to use it to your advantage.....

yes i would im also disabled and in a chair as i have only just lost both my legs over the past 18 months i have had a little fun since u lost them and a lot of fun before i lost them but find it harder now that i have lost them but im still the same person always looking to meet new friends and not just for sex i like meets to cat have a cuppa ect and only play if friends would like to and now i can oly accom its harder so if anyone thinks they would like to drop by please get intouch xx

I know a guy whos in a wheel chair, ive known him years and hes told me a few times he has feelings for me, hes a none swinging friend by the way, hes a lovely guy and i value him dearly as a friend, was he abled bodied i think i may have had sex with him several times by now but because hes in a chair i just cant, why?....because he has no feeling as all from the waste down so for me whats the point, whats the point in playing with a guy who cant feel anything, no point sucking his cock and he cant get an errection so i couldnt have sex with him, so what would we do, kiss, cuddle and him play with me? that maybe enough for him but thats not what im looking for in sex and i think it would be more patronising doing it when i dont want to so as not to hurt his feelings than being honest and telling him i dont like the idea of playing with a guy with no feeling waste down

Not a bad point there. In that particular scenario you are actually better by not going through with it as it would come over patronising and he'd no doubt pick up on that.

That's why nature/severity is important.

E.g. say a guy was in a wheelchair because of one broken leg and COULD still feel everything. Would that be a different case?
