Pay for Fab ??

Unpopular opinion alert...would you pay to join Fab? Not like the Silver or Gold member option but just to join. Would it not out the idiots and trolls. Spent time today being abused about sexual preferences and fetishes by some chancer who had just signed up. Yes I blocked after a few messages made it clear I was just cannon fodder for them but would a nominal fee deter the idiots?

No, it would make entitled people more so, because they’d paid, and it would keep genuine but skint people out.

I'm just goofing around. Might be a good idea, but might put off some genuine people where as the morons with money will just pay anyway and continue annoying people

It was just a thought, I'm far from entitled but being abused is not good regardless of financial status

The thing that's annoying about none supporters is when they ask "meet now" and they're 200 miles away.

Im on the fence as it would keep some away but you will also get a lot more people asking you to pay for there subscription like some do the site supporter fee

There are plenty of "idiots" who have money... some might argue that the more money people have, the worse they become.

We use another site which we pay for, far superior to this site which we use as a side note. Our main bug bear with this site is that it doesn't cover every country in the world, eg Japan as we go there often, plus the search filters are absolutely hopeless on this site. Anyway it does work to a certain extent

I pay for another site alongside this one and honestly the number of bots and fakes far exceeds what is here - and idiots are everywhere cant avoid them... fab does a good job as it is.

You can use your message filters to only allow messages from verified site supporters.

So you get your preferences without deterring new members.

I love the fact you can join for free, and message and use the forums and see what Fab is all about. Then you can then choose to pay if you want.

Definitely not, I wouldn't mind paying but my problem is my mother and sister are my bookkeepers, then after them comes our accountant, ever penny I spend that isn't cash is analysed te feek, am sure I am not the only one who doesn't want something sexual on their bank statements.

Besides that who knows what effect it would have on the site, about 20 years ago I was on a site that was considered massive in the swinging world (it began with the letter D ) it started charging then went downhill from there, gone 3 or 4 years later.

You can filter by age, sex, photos, verifications

Hopefully that should filter some idiots.

Would be better if all profiles had to be photo verified to be fair

A sign up fee would deter a lot of people who join out of a sense of curiosity and end up staying (like me)

Some who enjoy winding people up might find it a worthwhile fee for their entertainment.

been on and off many sites over the years including one that is two words starting with S and H when they started charging it went down hill rapidly, I think fab is one of the best if not the best.
