Not feeding the attention seeking is a perfectly valid choice.
I mean, being an asshole is also a valid choice I suppose. But a little empathy for fellow humans doesn't seem that much to ask "Calling me an asshole while simultaneously mentioning empathy for fellow humans… 
If the OP just wanted attention then just say something like “here’s my video, hope you enjoy!” Don’t ask for opinions of you don’t want both sides, that’s just common sense. | |||

We can never truly know what's happening inside someone's brain. But to go for people who already appear down, particularly about not even the actual thing they asked for feedback on, it's just not a pleasant thing to do. If someone was presenting as happy about the reaction to their video and there's the odd comment about being an attention whore, still kinda crappy, but a lighter shade of grey at least. | |||
