Does height matter?

I've lost count of the amount of times I get knock backs or nasty comments because of my height (some people, especially women, can be very cruel)..

most of the time I just let it go over my head (lol.. yes, I'M allowed to make small jokes).. but still have times where it gets to me

So... does height really matter?

(I'm 5'3 btw)

Would never be nasty to a guy about it tho, would just say it as it is, my preference.

It's a preference. Like a lot of things on the site I'm 6ft 1 but am not VWE or have a toned figure, I have hair on my chest and some on back. There are lots of reasons why women find men unnatractive. Chin up. So long as people are polite but, can't understand the need to be rude.

I'm only a inch taller than you mate and it doesn't matter. Obviously people have preferences but there's no need to be nasty about it. I think some people let the attention they get on this site go to their heads.

Good looks are a dime a dozen. You'll find what you're looking for soon enough.

We were not all made the same and if I wanted to meet someone this would not concern me ,I see it as been narrow minded but that's only my opinion .I always say anyone can judge me if they are perfect but how many people can deep down say they are.Im not so I dont judge others xxx

Im neither narrow minded or perfect, but I do judge, we all do, its what makes us unique. If we all liked the same thing then there would be a lot of lonely people in the world.

OP, I too have dealt with ciritsizm, the old lanky jibes and whats the weather like up there shit. You come over as a real nice guy and I wish you well, ignore the jibes, not easy i know but just accept that we all have preferences and one of yours is not to meet idiots, so block them and move on x

I have meet some tall peeps on here and only 5:4 tall my self and never been a Prob to us and Yes some do like tall men thats up to them here to swing.We have meet tall men 6 + and have been smaller down there so we all come in diffrent shape and sizes it would be a boring world if we was all the same. Its a swing site so chin up mate theres always some out there for you

If I was looking for a life partner then I might be this selective (although in my case I'd filter out tall people... I'm "only" 5'6") but one of the many great things about recreational sex is that I can choose to play with people who I'd normally discount for some reason if I was looking for someone to live happily ever after with.

I was specifically thinking about height when posting. Being in a couple with someone significantly taller than me would be an issue... but it's not stopped me having meets with taller women.

like I say.. doesn't really bother me these days.. in fact, all my gfs have been a fair bit taller than me, and I still insist they wear heels, lol.

still, its just not nice to hear nasty comments from small minded men and women.. but then, if they are like that, I probably wouldn't like them anyway.

I wouldn't have thought it should matter. As someone said previously we all come in different shapes and sizes. i'm 6ft 7 yet i'm not massive, in fact when it comes to proportion my tongue is the only thing that is.

it does to an extent, i dont mind men a little shorter than me but i dont like it if i have to really look down to them

I met a guy once who was 5ft and im about 5ft9/10 ish and i had heels on and if im totally honest it did make me feel a little wierd meeting a guy who was chest high, i felt like everyone was looking at us

I know such things shouldnt bother us but you cant help it if it does, you cant change youe whole personality to suit others if things bother you they just do

Don't worry about height!

Being small has distinct advantages.

You will rarely have a bad back,

when shagging you can have loads of extra fun with a taller person (I'll leave that to your imagination).

You don't have to excuse yourself from looking at a women's boobs (you are just looking ahead).

Some of the best leaders the world has known were small.

Think positive!!

I'm 5' 2". I find sex with a guy taller than 6' 3"/4" can be complicated and ends up in missionary style (fine, but not the most fun) and I tend to get achey from it. Ideally for me anywhere 5' 8" - 6 2" works well. I'd play with shorter guys, too - but Ideally I do like to be shorter than them even in 5" heels

I am a modest 5'5" but my wife is 6' tall in her bare feet & we are very happy together.

Having dated a lot of women over the years many were taller (although not by as much as my wife.

I dont have a thing about dating taller women - their height or lack of it are not of much interest.

It obviously doesnt bother me but often a girl I was dating would comment that normally they prefered taller guys but in spite of that they seemed to be attracted to me anyway.

I have been in a swing in a club with a guy who was a fair few inches shorter than me and that was quite funny to both of us as it just didnt work but we could both see the funny side of it. Sexually it doesnt make any difference to me. But I do agree I prefer taller men than me but have had many memorable occasions with shorter men.

I dated a guy a while back who was about 2 inches shorter then me and he loved me wearing heels and being taller than him as he had an air of confidence about himself and loved to be looked at. He didnt see it in a negative way at all.

I guess either you see it as a negative thing or you dont.

My sense is that women often prefer taller men but it does not appear to me to be a "deal breaker".

Equally I reckon a lot of guys feel insecure when approaching a taller woman.

In our case my wife struggled to meet guys. It seems they were often too intimidated by her look to approach which was great as it left the opportunity open to little old me

Everyone has choices and that includes height and shape age colour and likes and dislikes.

Some of us will always be not suited as something means we dont fit what they are looking for so we just learn to move on.

Personally speaking, I get visions of my (abusive and very disliked) father when I see short men - even worse if they carry excess weight and have hair loss.

It's not their fault that I simply cannot get past that image and could never fancy them enough to have sex with them.

Sorry guys - if that makes me shallow then so be it. Perhaps there are other people here who are turned off by reminders of the physical attributes of others??
