I had a meet with a couple planned tomorrow seen a blurry pic of him and her profile pic shows full length pic of her but turned to the side.

Iv asked for a face pic as I want to know who I’m playing with and got told I had my chance she’s not allowed because of her career .

Not unreasonable at all. There’s a couple near me who keep advertising saying they ar Dina hotel but refuse to send any pics.

I just assume they are either incredibly ugly or ghosters!

If they don't want to send you a pic, ask them to do a video call x

I don’t meet anyone that doesn’t have a quick video call just so we can all show faces and make sure attraction is still there.

Pics only paint a static snap shot that may or may not be truly representative plus pics are easily borrowed / edited etc.

If someone can’t take couple of minutes to video call (you can even use apps to block your number for discretion ) then simply I very much doubt they are either genuine or want to meet etc.

Don’t be worried about sacking off people op. There is always more people to meet

Not been unreasonable we always ask for face pictures especially if we are planning a meet but it's amazing how many people don't ask for them back

No you're not being unreasonable.

We've met people in the long distant past who could only provide very unclear photos. It never went well

I get some people want to protect their identity though maybe ask for a Snapchat pic so it disappears so they know you can't screen shot it or ask them to make a Instagram profile with their pic so can't be traced through a sex site

If you feel like something is off then don't meet them. It's pretty simple really .

No you're not unreasonable asking for a face pic but if they don't want to show one that is their choice as well no one has to do anything they don't want to do on here.

I share face pics only if it's getting close to meeting someone. I do not do video calls at all as I despise them. That's my choice. I've also met people before who we didn't share face pics at all. Some went well and we met again others it went no father than a social.I probably wouldn't do it again though.

But it's up to you if you do not feel comfortable without getting a face pic then don't meet them. There is nothing wrong with that. Just tell them and move on.

I’d say you are both not being unreasonable. It’s also up to them if they want to share. Only you can decide if you want to go ahead based on what they have given you.

Against my better judgement I met someone off here for a social without face pics and have learnt my lesson as I wasn’t attracted to them (they probably felt likewise! )

It’s tough one, I get that people don’t want to risk their day to day lives etc (people have lost jobs etv over having this life style) but at the end of the day you do need to who you are meeting.

The problem starts with pic collectors, we get a lot of messages from people saying we like your profile please send us face pics. Now to out mind, we are now putting ourselves out their and they aren’t, also it kinda feels like we being judged, like “send us face pics and we will see if you are worthy” which is quite insulting.

Some people will send face pics then ask for yours in return, which is better, tit-for-tat, maybe the person/couple approaching the other should be the first to share??

We normally look at the persons profile and see if they are a verified profile and have real verifications to see if we think they are genuine. All a big balancing act.

In your case (op) you are absolutely in the right. If you’ve shared pics and they haven’t, they are probably time wasters and or pic collectors.

But wouldn't their career be affected by meeting also and would like same respect by the image as in person

You weren't being unreasonable

I have a “professional” job. I might get into trouble with my governing body but I still share face pics if I want to meet someone.

You can’t meet someone and not expect to share pics.

Both parties are not being unreasonable. We all swing how we're comfortable with. Just a mismatch of comfort zones so it's clearly not going to work if no-one wants to give a little which is fine just move on.

Not unreasonable at all op

If someone wouldn't exchange a face pic with me ,it would go no further.

We all have jobs/private lives that we want to keep private

What was the outcome?

Carlisle usually

It's not unreasonable at all. Everyone is entitled to have their own opinions on what they feel are requirements to meet people. If people are incompatible on that front, then you move on to the next interesting prospect.
