"How understanding are people, when you have to use public transport to get to meets? Would it put you off meeting someone? Does it affect the meets you can/cant have? I mainly use PT to get around so i do have a small panic factoring in travel to meet people. Much of the time its not a problem, sometimes it would be…. " When I lived in the midlands I used PT all the time so it wouldn't bother me at all - its only since moving down to the SW that I have driven as its more essential

I am going to a private gangbang, what would take me 30 mins by car us gonna take me over and hour and a half by bus train and bus again. I haven't had a shag in ages so I have to do it! Thats life I spose!!!!! Can't wait till I get my licence back though." Could try getting an Uber or over such Taxi like service

Plus I'm not arsed to travel further than the couple of miles into my local town. At a push the next city by 15min train. I find it helps as a decent filter for those who are actually inclined or not to meet me too though

"If I was meeting someone I'd always offer to pick them up and if it never went well I'd still drive them baxk" i know youve not ment it this way .. but imagine being a woman and the meet goes wrong for what ever reason and her only way home is the guy its gone wrong with and then youll understand why most women would not pick that option

If they never wanted the lift back them thats absoloutlg fine. I'm a bit of a joker so people genuinely feel at ease round me but hey I get whag yohr saying

"been asked a few time if i can go and pick up a guy (total stranger) as he cant drive .. they just cant see how wrong that sound it should send a shiver down any womans spine .... safety is everything" Yeah absolutely but I simply hate public transport so would always offer them a lift. If they don't feel saft I'd maybe help them get a cab

" As a car owner, I'm more than willing to help my date with a lift to my place, if they can't accommodate and have transport issues." I have done this on a number of occassions.

"Some people are *extremely* judgemental about using public transport – the Tory “If you’re bussing it after the age of thirty, there’s something wrong” crowd. I am perfectly comfortable with such individuals not wanting to meet me. " i dont see any judgement ?? just some people are not going to change the way they play to suit someone catching a bus for alot of people swinging is down to time and the lack of it sadly that means for some pt will not work .... cant blame others for not being able to get there at a certain time ...nobody fault its just what it is...

" Some people do judge on that basis - I have no issue with "logistically it won't work" - but some people do think that there's a difference between whether you get somewhere on a train (bus, tram, etc) or in a car.

"A guy without a car would be a big red flag for us. Like why don’t you own one? Do you still live in your mums box room?" I don't own a car because I don't want to own a car. My mum lives on the other side of the world.

Even so, a man who chooses not to own a car is probably not our type of person, so can’t or won’t own a car is equally a red flag for us. Each to their own though, but no car no meet for us.

"I can't see how this could ever matter... " Sorry, as in whether it's a reason to meet someone or not. Of course I can see it has an impact if you want to meet someone who lives in a very inaccessible location and PT isn't an option. But as a consideration of whether I want to meet a person or not, never.

I know, right. I mean, c'mon! Thinking about it, I'd go further and rule people out on the *type* of car too.

Like us you'd be classed as 'rural', so car ownership would be a bigger priority than elsewhere. But I lived in London for nigh on a decade without a car and I know plenty of city dwellers who don't own one. Aside from not needing one, there's literally nowhere for them to park, CAZ's are a ball ache and insurance is sky high. It's way easier to bus/tram/tube/taxi/uber it for many if they're not in the sticks and like us live in the middle of butt fuck nowhere. So whilst I understand cars are more necessary in rural areas its a tad harsh to say that non car owning men are red flags. What about bikers? Or cyclists? Or people who live close enough to travel to you by taxi? A

I can do the car and the elephant, but the unicycle didn't work out. I ordered one from ebay but when it arrived it only had one wheel...

However from personal experience, and not just of fab but people in general, our stance still stands and it would be a red flag.
